How to Get There
When I needed to be in Long Beach early on November 28th, I chose to stay at Hotel Maya. It is a perfect place to stay, when in Long Beach. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was perfect in ensuring a good night's sleep. The location is ideal for anyone doing business in the main area of Downtown Long Beach, on Ocean Blvd. or near the Convention Center. I also recommend it for anyone who may wish to stay overnight before embarking on a Carnival Cruise trip from the Port of Long Beach.Another perk, for certain rooms, and the restaurant: a great view of the Queen Mary
Great hotel with a great resturant in a great location. Love the experience and the service was terrific. Room was spacious and clean and the views from the room was awesome. Highly recommend this hotel.
I was forced to pay more than the agreed upon price. Our room did not have towels, soap or shampoo. (typically expected at this price point). After slipping on the marble bathroom floor the front desk insisted on calling every 30 minutes waking my family up. Prior to the trip it took me weeks to contact them via phone to "get on the list" for cruise port transportation. They insisted on only offering 1 time only that was 3 hours early.
Pedro Sanchez Bad customer service first impression is very important, very disappointment after I drove 6 1/2 hours I just wanted to rest but when I got to the hotel they make me wait over 40 minutes to check in, the person at the desk was very unprofessional and rude he told me how come I didn't call to let him know that I was coming late, even I show him the calls on my cellphone I did call several times and nobody answer and the next day we had an invasion of mosquitos in the room, to be honest I have visit many hotels in Long Beach for years and this is the worse hotel, I'll definitely won't recomend this hotel and i will tell all my friends and family not to go to this hotel.
Cross the bridge and take a left and boom you are at Hotel Maya. Loved everything about decor and room was spacious. Waterfront room with balcony overlooking water is only way to go. View of Long Beach and bridge was spectacular at night. Seen dolphins swimming in the bay. Loved everything about Hotel Maya.
