How to Get There
Recently stayed here for 2 nights due to work travel. Attended a tradeshow at the Long Beach Convention Center. It's about a 10 min walk from the hotel to the center, much of that has to do with the traffic lights. Comfortable beds and linens. Has some green touches like light sensors for when you enter/leave the room. Clean. Buffet breakfast was just OK. I really recommend the green juice, it was delish. Server in both the restaurant and lounge were engaging and friendly. Note: I didn't have the need to use the pool, but as of the writing of this review (Oct 2019) it was closed for repairs due to earthquake damage. I didn't have this information at the time of booking (months out) but there was a sign at check in.
This is not an example of what I expect from Hilton brand hotels. It just comes off as a second rate hotel. It would be better if it was closer to the city action, restaurants, shopping, etc, but it isn't. The restaurant wasn't a consideration after that first meal, and I walked a mile for dinner the rest of my stay.
If you can afford this place, you can afford the Westin down the street.
Don't pay hilton prices for motel 8 expectations .
I think this sentence says it all but I'm requirer to produce 200 character m
