How to Get There
All employees were great. Friendly and accommodating. Food was superb, especially, The Loft for breakfast, quality, temperature and taste was great. At the bar, the appetizers were excellent and the bartenders were excellent, especially Jimmy!
Went down for a late dinner (9 pm) the day I arrived. The first waitress didn’t seem too excited to see me. Perhaps it was the end of her shift or she just didn’t want to serve another person. A second we just showed up and I ordered the salmon cakes and the crispy brussels sprouts with a glass of expensive Justin Cabernet. I had to work on trying to swallow the salmon cake; even after I requested extra sauces, it was dry and difficult to swallow, that I left one whole salmon cake behind. The brussels sprouts were overdone and soaking in balsamic vinegar, making it chewy, vinegary with no other taste to it. The wind was a poor choice with this food, which was my mistake. The taste left in my mouth was so bad, that I requested for some bread with butter to cleanse my palate for the last sip of wine. First night in Long Beach and a very bad experience, unfortunately.
The hotel had a nice lobby and was clean. Pool was outdoors and very small-an indoor pool would have been nice, too. Bathroom drain was slow. A room microwave would have been nice. The Hotel was conveniently located to my business meeting.
The food was amazing, loved the fish tacos! The pool, especially the clam shaped chairs were awesome! and all the lounges were great, excellent deal for the price. I loved that it was pet friendly, you had a gym!
Was staying at another hotel and didn't like it, switched to this one and so happy that we did. The staff was amazing and the accommodations were fantastic. The gym and pool area were really nice. Can't wait to go back for longer stay.
