Because the foghorn
fielding

Location....location? Yes on the water, but more a harbor view than ocean view; also kind of hard by the highway. Also not cheap. But never mind. Never mind anything except the foghorn that goes off every 10 seconds, continuously. To some folks maybe it’s romantic or evocative, but it gets old quickly and you can hear it even with windows closed. But who wants to close the windows when they open towards the sea and usher in lovely breezes? Now of course the inn can’t control the foghorn. Just sayin’. We found it detrimental to the stay. Everything else? Really pretty good. Nice spot. Friendly staff. Easy access to beachfront/fishing harbor. Comfortable room. The continental breakfast was fine, and trays are provided so you can take it back to your room. In many regards, a higher rating is called for. But....because the foghorn.

Beautiful ocean views

We spent 3 nights in an ocean view junior suite and it was such a relaxing long week-end. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with the beds on an elevated level so you can enjoy the ocean views while waking up in the morning. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the paved walk/bike trail that runs behind the hotel. The trails makes it easy to walk to the restaurants that are close by. The hotel provides a continental breakfast which was ok. We will stay here when we come back to this area.

Poor service

Second time we stayed there and we didn't enjoy our stay. Room was not as we booked and we didn't have enough space for us and our kids. Very loud room was upstairs and we will be never come back.....
