Could be reached by plane from Manila To ElNido or Cebu to Puerto Princessa then 5 hours ride to El Nido. From Lio Port to El Nido Resorts by Motorized Boat or Speed Boat. Then a standard tour to nearby islands where you can swim and ride Kayak, whole day of island hopping thru the big and small Lagoon

It was our first time to go to El Nido and our first time to stay at Lagen Island.

We went to celebrate our 14 th wedding anniversary and the resort management and staff made it very memorable. It was beyond our expectations.

The rooms were impeccable! So beautiful! The service and friendliness of the staff were remarkable! Everyone was kind and so eager to please.

We will definitely come back. With our son this time! We tried to book for Christmas. It all the resorts are fully booked already!

We loved staying at El Nido Lagen Island!

Such a beautiful resort. All the staff are so friendly as we find in the Philippines at a lot of places. With El Nido resorts it is apparent that they really care about their customers and go the extra mile. From the greeting song to the departure song we found that special.

I liked that the resort is concerned about the environment and is conscious about the local community.

The food is always fresh and nice variety. I went fishing with the locals and the chef cooked the fish which was nice. Drop fishing with a line was something I hadn’t done before it was a new experience for me.

The accommodation was excellent, we had a water cottage. Siting on our veranda watching a school of parrot fish at my feet with my morning coffee was special. Everything was modern and clean.

The resort is quiet no disco or loud partying at night. Nice small resort. We went to the beach on side of the island we were the only ones there, beside the one staff and security. They were ready to get anything we needed. We had our own tropical beach. The smoking of the beach was amazing. 10 times better than paying to do a snorkeling tour anywhere in the Caribbean.

All in all, if your looking for a special place to have a special time Lagen Island is worth every penny.

The view is perfect. Restaurant staff was very nice. but the food (for dinner, ala cart) was so so.

It was lowtide during our stay, we didnt enjoyed our over water room on the first day.

Hotel front desk was not really helpful, tried to ask for a mobile phone charger since my phone got wet, I needed a real charger coz I only got power bank, she said she will ask and call back but she didn't. I'm not asking to bring it to my room, I told her I will go to the reception area coz I needed a charger so badly.

Rooms were super clean, however, theres no bath robes, I called and asked why theres no bath robes, the operator said they will bring and they did. Then I realized theres also no cottons, cotton buds etc in bathroom. I called again and asked why those things are not in the room?? the operator said "It's by request". I mean I've been to many hotels all over the world 7 stars, 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars 2 stars, name it. Every hotel has a complete stuff inside the room, no need to request or what so ever. I don't know why they are making things complicated.

Breakfast buffet is good. The restaurant staff in the morning was really kind and nice, they even gave me a rice for my wet phone.

Massage was good. The souvenir shop is just small but they have interesting and unique things that you can only buy from them.

Overall, our stay was good, the place is really nice and so as the rooms, beds, views. But some staff needs more training. In my observation, they pay more attention and do extra to the foreigners. Just an honest opinion.
