How to Get There
Really nice hotel in the heart of Culver city. Live jazz every night and loads of restaurants nearby to choose from. Room decor is chic. Definitely will stay again when I am in town. Only thing is the room doesn’t come with the ironing utilities, which is not very business travel friendly.
First trip to LA and could not have been happier! Staff was so helpful and kind. The hotel vibe was the perfect mix of modern & old Hollywood glamour.
Every detail is covered, great daily breakfast. Live jazz every night.
I’ve been here countless times. This may well be a charming and historic venue, although I wouldn't recommend it for a special event. After almost a week of attempting to get in contact with someone from meetings & events, I got the run around with differing answers from multiple people via calls and email. It took me asking to speak to someone in charge, to find out their dining room can only accommodate/seat a party of up to 8 individuals per table. The other private event options accommodate 20-40 individuals with a rather pricey minimum. All I wanted was a table to accommodate dinner and drinks for a party of 10 people to celebrate my niece's boyfriend who is graduating from USC in May 2019.
Apparently if you have 9 to 19 people who want dinner and drinks this isn’t the place. It would have been preferable had the staff had been transparent and upfront. I have better things to do with my time than to keep following up and up and up. To make a bad experience even worse I was told, "We are happy to have your party come and hangout at the bar to celebrate". Thank you, but no thanks! I'll take my rather simple request elsewhere – and personally myself I won't be back! #BadCustomerService #PoorCommunication #MissedOpportunity
We stayed here for one night as it was close to a restaurant we were going to. The Culver Hotel is a historic hotel that has been upgraded while still retaining an aura of old-school glamour. Our room was large but the bathroom was tiny - literally could only have one person in there at a time.
The bar was busy +++ the afternoon we arrived and they have a party room that seems to be well used -celebrations there day and night. Staff are super friendly and valet guys willing to offer advice about local places to eat etc.
When I first moved to Los Angeles for a travel assignment, one of my first social experiences was getting a drink at the Culver Hotel. I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan. This was a very charming experience and the drinks were amazing. The bar was beautiful.
