I called for room service and the gentleman hung up in my face without taking my room number. I called back he told me 40 minutes for cake and mimosas. He never came. I called an hour later and he told me the kitchen was closed. So I called to the front desk and they said it was still open until 11. The time was about 8:15 when I called. I got a complimentary mimosa and no cake. Which is fine. He even gave me complimentary breakfast. I told him my room service menu was on the door. He said he would take it to the kitchen and staple the complimentary order with it. My delivery was supposed to be from 8:30 - 8:45am. Didn’t receive anything. I called down at 9 am and an Asian woman told me my order was never put in but she did say she will bring it. I was told that they don’t do delivery to the room for complimentary breakfast but would make an exception. The woman came up and I took the food from her. Then once again she proceeds to scold me and say they don’t deliver with complimentary food.’I told her that I got it the first time over the phone and didn’t need to be scolded over it twice. Especially since it would have been something I would of paid for if her kitchen didn’t mess up in the first place. I’ve never had rude service here before. I actually love this hotel and you guys can look up my number and see I frequent here often. Not sure of what the future holds as far as stays.

Way overpriced and not that great!

This hotel was extremely noisy, the plumbing in our room was so loud, both toilet and shower that I'm sure it shook the rooms around us. The room was nothing fancy and not even super clean, the bed was hard and the staff was not really friendly. I thought that being a Hilton Hotel it would be nice as we have stayed in many Hilton's in the past, but PASS on this hotel... NOT NICE.

Noisy rooms, old bathrooms, hard beds, unfriendly staff.

We have used this hotel for new employees to stay during their week of orientation. The last few times, the new employees have shared this displeasure with the hotel and the hotel's inability to remedy the situation. The high rate does not equal the hotel's quality at all.

Went to San Jose for work and FAMILY... Had a good time at the hotel, enjoyed most of the surrounding area. Will stay at this location again in the future and would recommend it to family and friends.

So it's located in a shopping center. You might love that or not care. I live in the boonies, in the woods so for me it's fun! Only 10-15 minute drive from the airport. Coming from the east coast I was up bright and early and delighted to walk to the nearby Peet's Coffee which opens at 6 am. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Some aspects are a bit worn but I have stayed before in a different incarnation so I knew that ahead. Not a ton of hotels to choose from in the area, if you want to be near stores, freeway, Willow Glen neighborhood, this may work for you. I did not try the restaurant, which was a little rowdy with wine/painting party when I arrived -- but hey, they were having fun, and I got an awesome chocolate chip cookie.
