How to Get There
We have stayed here a few times over seven years because it’s close to family. We have had different experiences each time. Last time wasn’t a great experience beginning at checkin to checkout. Our room last time was basic and outdated with a saggy mattress. Mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable, and caved in the middle of the bed.
It seems there’s been some updating since our last stay last year. Although our room booking could not be accommodated at checkin (not a pleased platinum member) and in order to be near the concierge lounge and fitness, we had to take an accessible room in that tower. This room seemed updated and the bedding was comfortable. The room layout did not fit our needs for our four night stay. We were also offered $10 vouchers to the restaurant as we were told they were going to have a very busy weekend in the concierge lounge. We declined. But had we been told it was for a girl’s dance competition we would have rethought our decision. We gave up going to the concierge on Sunday and stayed away. I am disappointed that Marriott management allows vouchers to be provided to non-concierge members as the lounge is not large enough to accommodate a huge dance competition. Catering should be provided over in the convention center instead. A sweet deal for them but a slap in the face to loyal Marriott members.
My husband and I are visiting LA to spend time with family in the Burbank area. We do not look forward to the experience of congested and chaotic LA. The Marriott Burbank Airport is the perfect solution for us. The hotel has a free shuttle from the Burbank Airport and the rental car facility is a short walk across the street from the hotel. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is very clean, with a nice 24 hour concierge lounge for Rewards members, and an outdoor bar and restaurant in a pretty courtyard in the front of the hotel. The staff, from valet parking staff, to the lounge, and front desk staff are extremely accommodating and pleasant. They helped us with several small requests and always had a helpful response that exceeded our request. The location is convenient to access various parts of the city. It’s a 15 minute drive to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour which we highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again. It could not have been a better stay.
This hotel is worth the price. The beds are soft, clean and comfortable. I experienced no problems and excellent service from the hotel staff, even before checking in. There are some noises from the road, airport and what sounded like a train. Otherwise I have no complaints about my stay.
This was my second stay at the LA Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. I am a Marriott Rewards Member. My booking was done several weeks in advance of the nationwide Marriott security breach that compromised customers booking information. Due to the security breach, Marriott began offering rates that were significantly lower. My booking rate was 10% higher than the ongoing rates, upon my arrival. I shared my feelings on the matter with reservations before and after my stay. The Front Desk Manager barely took one minute before flat out refusing to offer an kind of rebate or voucher. The initial room was dank and the carpet was dirty. I was switched to another room. Afterwards, I addressed an email to the Front Desk manager concerning the price paid. Again, I was quickly rebuffed with a standard template response. I will never return to this location ever again. Its not so much the accommodations or the location, as it is the general attitude expressed toward guests. I honestly do not think they care whether you come back or not. They really don't. There are lots of choices in the area. I will not return.
We stayed here 3 nights, in the concierge tower. The lobby was beautiful and upgraded, the rooms could use an upgrade. The staff was wonderful, treated us very well and helped us anytime we asked. Free shuttle to Universal Studios. They also had an SUV that could take us to the LAX airport for half the price of an Uber Black.
The concierge room was comfortable and offered great choices of breakfast, snacks and beverages.
