How to Get There
We stayed 2 nights at the Crescent. The location is excellent about a 5 minute walk to the heart of Rodeo Drive. Beverly Hills City Hall, which is beautiful is also about 2 blocks away in the opposite direction of Rodeo. We looked at other area hotels like the Beverly Hilton, Mr C, and Beverly Hills Marriott, this was by far in the best most walk-able location. Also, there is a buzzing Italian restaurant on the same block where the concierge says many celebrities and paparazzi hang out.
The room was a little small but was fine for us. The lobby is also quite small and 'boutique'.
Perhaps our favorite part of the hotel was the service, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to check-in early and check-out late. There is a resort fee of $30 a night but unlike many other hotels that includes unlimited bottles of water, a great breakfast buffet in the mornings, and unlimited beer and wine from 5-6 PM every night.
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to LA!
We just adore this boutique hotel. The staff, particularly Winston and Jose, are wonderful. The hotel is quant, but beautiful. You feel like a 1950s celebrity the second you walk in the door. Rooms have an Art Deco/European feel. Yes they are small but just the right amount of space. The breakfast is also European continental—so you have a lovely variety to choose from. And the patio is perfect for a morning coffee (or 3) and evening cocktails. We’ve already told several friends to stay here next time they’re in Beverly Hills. We hope to as well!
My adult daughter and I spent three nights at the Crescent while visiting my other daughter in the neighborhood. You cannot ask for a better location if you want to be in Beverly Hills. It’s also about half the price of the other luxury hotels in the area. The hotel is a funky little place, with a great sense of style and really cool common areas. There are lots of great pieces of art, and fun colors throughout. They have a buffet breakfast every morning which is very enjoyable. You can sit outside or inside. The rooms are small, but totally fine. If you like a five-star luxury experience this probably isn’t for you. If you want a fantastic location with a perfectly fine room and fun common areas, this is a great spot. Valet is $30 a day but you can park across the street in the lot and there is some street parking. I would definitely stay at the Crescent again.
Hotel is small and comfortable. Rooms are very small. Even the King size room is diminutive, so be aware of that. Otherwise, location can't be beat and hotel is clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is good. Would stay again.
The Crescent is a lovely boutique hotel with service that makes you feel like one of the family. The rooms are a tad small, but this is easily compensated for by the stylish interiors and beautiful common areas. We plan to stay at the Crescent whenever we visit L.A.
