The hotel’s lobby sets the tone for the property, with plush leather couches and a rotating art installation making up for rooms that lean toward small. A massive renovation overseen by designer Vicente Wolf features new decor in which dark woods stand out against the sheen of brushed metals, and oversize mirrors reflect floral arrangements from all angles. It brings the natural into play with the artificial — kind of like L.A. itself.
Bed and Bath
Among the 88 rooms and suites, many deliver phenomenal views of the Hollywood Hills as well as the private patios of Chanel, Prada and Gucci. Deluxe Rooms are more intimate; they feel like a SoCal home inspired by the West Coast’s sea and sky. Bathrooms have tub-shower combos, custom toiletries and plush robes.
A private indoor courtyard that makes for an ideal place to sip coffee between shopping spurts connects the hotel’s two towers. And if one block is too far to walk for shopping, Valentino and Michael Kors are right on the property. Café Rodeo offers the only outdoor dining on Rodeo Drive, so you can stargaze — human or celestial — in any direction.
How to Get There
I booked this hotel by accident, but I am so glad I did, we had such an lovely stay, the staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy and all you need is in walking distance, especially dinner outside Tiffany's, this we will never forget. Happy Hour/s were relaxing and a great way to enjoy a pre dinner drink and chat. We stayed for a week and were delighted that the tour buses collected and dropped off at the door with ease. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay while in Beverly Hills, this is it.
A small sign hangs out into Rodeo Drive, dwarfed by the Gucci sign just across the street. Once inside, you'll find a boutique hotel and be greeted by a warm and friendly staff. My roof overlooked Rodeo Drive, yet was surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable and bathroom, while on the small side well appointed. I would recommend this hotel and am anxious to stay there again.
