This sprawling property is designed so you never have to leave. Kids can feed ducks near the lagoon, have noodle races, splash contests, and water volleyball games in the pool, or play croquet, basketball, badminton or golf. Adults have two golf courses to choose from; pools, whirlpools, lighted tennis courts and a Westin Workout gym with massages in the spa to unwind after; plus there are guided horseback tours into the desert. In between, guests refuel at one of the restaurants, from Italian Pinzimini to the poolside Las Brisas Café.
In the Area
Technically, Palm Springs is a desert. But it’s lush with activities. There’s bike riding, horseback riding, and desert treks. Within ten miles of the resort, guests will find four museums (including the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert and the Palm Springs Air Museum), along with Knotts Berry Farm, and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Adult travellers might prefer to check out the Moorten Botanical Gardens, or Agua Caliente Casino. And then there’s the El Paseo Shopping District, because everyone prefers a shopping mecca to a shopping desert.
How to Get There
I really enjoyed the villa we stayed in. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. We arrived about 4 hours before check in and they were able to let us into our villa early. One thing which I found weird was I was traveling with my friends and my Bonvoy account is under my husbands name. They had me give them his phone number to call home to verify I was allowed to check in. This was very odd as I travel all the time and never have been asked this before. I enjoyed the view from our room and the resort was very peaceful and quiet. My favorite thing was the quiet pool! We also had a nice view from our villa. I would definitely stay her again.

A HUGE THANK YOU to "Gil" at your from desk at the Villas today. I tried to find out about amenities from the Concierge today, but she was unable to tell me about the hotel amenities offered. :( I redialed and called back the Villas again and asked for the front desk and talked with Gil who was SUPER knowledgeable and informed me about the choices they offered. I was able to arrange for chocolate covered strawberries to be placed in my daughter's room for her arrival.
She is 6 months pregnant and visiting for a quick 3 day getaway for some peace & quiet before the baby comes in December! Thank you Gil for being empathic today and getting our needs taken care of and getting her stay off to a great start.
Grateful Mom (Soon to be Nana) Laurie

Used to consider this a home away from home. That is no longer the case. They make you feel like children at a day care and they are policing you constantly. No longer recommend as a place to feel like you are at home.
