How to Get There
This was our first visit here. The property is older and the rooms can use some updating. The rooms on the lower floors are dark as there is limited lighting. The ceilings have a popcorn finish. The bed was REAL comfortable. The bathroom fixtures and furniture can be updated. You can hear noisy neighbors upstairs walking around and floor squeaking. The staff were VERY friendly and seemed to happy with their positions; even the gardeners were happy and always said hello while I was walking my dogs. The parking spaces are extra wide allowing for SUV's to easily park and open the doors wide without hitting the cars next to you, just perfect. The bartenders at the main restaurant are hit and miss as far as their ability to make a good mixed drink. This property has a Timeshare element beside the main hotel and the concierge desk does pitch the seminar with the promise of a $150 Visa card or Marriott Reward Points. They mention it but aren't pushy. The grounds around the units along the golf course are well maintained and some areas have a park-like setting, great for dogs and families to enjoy. When traveling with another couple or kids, it is easy to request side by side rooms. When booking rooms like this, you actually get a 3rd exterior door that works on both room keys even though the rooms have differently coded doors, giving your party a private 2 bedroom suite and privacy. It is not cheap to stay here. Every room is charged a Resort Fee of $36+ per day despite the guest using the amenities available for the fee. Was disappointed that there wasn't a variety of REAL breakfast options other than the $30 buffet. Was also disappointed with the rough toilet paper at this price point. This location has a dog adaption program where one dog is available at a time and on displace for enjoyment in the lobby during the day. As a dog lover, this is a wonderful program, which the hotel told us has been successful for the past two years.
My wife and I just spent 2 nights at the resort. When we left I forgot some clothing items in a drawer. The items weren’t too valuable but an old shirt had sentimental value. I called the resort to let them know and Jason in Loss Prevention was WONDERFUL. He was able to find my clothes and is shipping them to me. I kept thanking him and he kept saying “that is part of the hospitality here”. He never said how he was able to make it happen, it was always we at the resort. WOW! He is an asset to the resort for sure.
Great place to stay with families or couples lots of things to do fun pool area a place to buy food n drinks rooms are fabulous with bbq and view loved this place !!! I can’t say enough and it’s close to Palm Springs
I traveled for business, but the stay was incredible. Besides the beds Westin is known for, my room had a great view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Everyone was very helpful and the bar makes a pretty good Old Fashioned.
I was here for a business meeting so I can’t talk to price. But the property was gorgeous! The catered meals were ok, not spectacular. It is very spread out which can be good or bad depending on weather and your health. They do have carts that can take you around if needed
