Absolutely Amazing!!
Reviewed 5 days ago

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! I mentioned it was our anniversary and our recent engagement and they went above and beyond anything we could imagine! Starting with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival then upgraded us to a huge one bedroom suite with our own kitchen, lounge, dining area and two balconies! Soon after settling in they surprised again with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries set out beautifully on our table. The service was just amazing, the pools are beautiful and we even had it to ourselves! We dined at the restaurant and the pasta dish we had was seriously amazing! Distance to the Main Street is so close and walkable. I couldn’t recommend Avalon Hotel enough!

The most amazing wedding I ever could have hoped for
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I just stayed at the Avalon Palm Springs for a week culminating in my wedding. My group wound up accounting for about half the rooms, suites and bungalows at the hotel, and every single one of us had an absolutely amazing time. The grounds are immaculate, the pools are cool and refreshing, the food is terrific, and most of all, the service every step of the way was impeccable, from the valets to the check in clerks to the bartenders to the nightwatchman. Everyone was friendly and knew exactly how to keep us having fun at all times.

The wedding itself was unbelievable. I never expected to be so happy with how it all turned out, or to have so much fun. A wedding is such a massive undertaking that I figured there would be a lot of stress along the way, and particularly on the day of. But that wasn't the case at all. My wife and I were charmed from the start with Pam and her staff and all the help they offered through every step of the planning. Pam let us know from the start that we would not need a wedding planner -- the Avalon (for a very, very reasonable fee) is happy to help coordinate and to provide a day-of coordinator. We were always in touch, and therefore we never felt overwhelmed or stressed out. The day and night went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, the several spaces we used at the hotel for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception and Sunday brunch were all dramatic and beautiful, and the overall flow orchestrated by Pam and her team just plain worked. My wife and I are ecstatic and wish we could do it all again -- we wouldn't change a thing.

I know there are a lot of great hotels in Palm Springs, and I think the Avalon is one of those special ones. The property and the rooms are all so picturesque and pristine, well designed and comfortable with great amenities and such a close attention to detail. The staff is beyond friendly, food delicious, and the hotel comfortable and well located, I highly recommend it.

Ideal Desert Escape!

One of a kind experience at Avalon Palm Springs. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The property provides the ideal desert getaway to escape and disconnect from LA. Word-class F&B product and Spa. A Must!

Weekend in Palm Springs

Nice weekend here. Service was amazing. Pools were fun. No mini bar in room. Bottled water in room was expensive. Some areas could use some updating. Sun curtains falling off hooks on balconies makes property look shabby.
