How to Get There
Came here for business and was happy to be one of this guests to get a remodeled room. My advice is to get a room that’s off of the atrium. It’s pretty noisy at night with the lobby bar below. I would ask for a room on the 7th floor.
Many restaurants to choose from here. We liked the Japanese steakhouse. Great for family’s and kids. The property is very family friendly. Room service was slow and the food was just ok. It was not bad by any means just ok. On the weekend they have a taco bar by the pool. The fresh tacos were the best food on the trip.
I went to this hotel when mine didn’t have the items I needed. Tano greeted me at the door very early in the morning. Walking through the hotel I should have stayed there it is beautiful. Tano opened the store for me and allows me to shop for what I needed. We shared a few laughs in the store and he sent me off with water and chocolate to help me smile . What a great encounter and life saver he was. We ended up returning to this hotel several times for things we needed. They have a wonderful coffee bar right in the lobby and a huge welcoming bar.
From the moment you pull up to the property, you see the grandeur of this JW Marriott. When you walk in the scent of citrus welcomes you and you see the beautiful atrium.
They are renovating, so there are workers around, but it doesn’t take away from the beauty of this resort. You can see the lake and pool area through the windows right off the atrium bar area.
They offer you a resort guide to inform you of daily activities, to include golf, nightly entertainment, exquisite restaurants ( which you can take a free boat to ),local activities and shopping.
The rooms are spacious with upgraded bathrooms, and sitting areas.
The local area has hiking, other golfing locations, the downtown shopping district with bars and restaurants!
If you’re staying in Palm Desert this JW is a must!
