Great charming Hotel in La Quinta, CA.
Situated by the Los La Quinta. All rooms with view of the lake. Very clean and updated room/bathroom with outdoor sitting by the lake.
The patio is amazing for dining by the lake. Great food. We had a wonderful breakfast.
The staff is extremely friendly.
Upon arrival we were served with a glass of cold champagne.
Can’t wait to visit again.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to Room 205 - the only room with 2 balconies that both open. What a beautiful space! You can feed the fish and turtles directly from the 2nd floor balcony as you are literally right over the lake. I’m a bed snob and it’s unusual for me to get a good night sleep anywhere - the King Bed was so comfortable I actually pulled off the sheets to find out the make and manufacture (pillows not fabulous though - a little lumpy - but I bring my own pillow as I’m so fussy so I was happy). We had to get a rollaway bed for our daughter. She said it was very uncomfortable but I think that’s pretty standard with rollaways and not a fault of this particular property. I love these rooms. They don’t have that cookie cutter feel of the chain hotels. They truly reflect the best interpretation of an upscale boutique property. Dinner at Melange, the on-site restaurants, was spectacular. We met a very successful couple who keep a residence nearby and this is where they like to dine when they are in town. Between the stunning location right on the lake, under the stars and fairy lights, warmed by the outdoor stone fireplace, and the sumptuous menu choices served by friendly, well-trained staff, the restaurant is a true gem. So, between this lovely hidden boutique inn and a beautiful restaurant to delight any foodie, the Chateau at Lake La Quinta is a top choice. We don’t return to many hotels but we would certainly return here.

Gorgeous Serene Setting and Great Service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chateau at Lake La Quinta. Our deluxe room opened onto a private patio with a small lawn and the lake beyond. What a beautiful spot! In the late afternoon, we enjoyed a cocktail al fresco and watched the sun go down behind distant mountains. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast - abundant dishes, beautiful service and more gorgeous lakeside views. There is a very nice pool for sunbathing (big white fluffy towels) and taking a dip.
The lake draws bird and also has turtles and carp that happily swim up for food provided by the front desk.
The service by the staff was excellent. They made our stay perfect. Thanks!

Chateau at Lake La Quinta has become our go to in Palm Springs. Rooms are warm and inviting and have a great view of the lake. Melange was great for every meal. Had the pool area mostly to ourselves. The manager's champagne welcome was new but much appreciated!
See you again soon

Beautiful quiet place!

Everything was great. We were greeted with champagne by Steve. We were a little early but our room was available. Steve escorted us to our room and offered to assist with our luggage. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi before dinner. Our dinner was fantastic. Great menu and a lot to choose from. We had a lovely lakeside table so the obeisance was super. The gentle night lighting was really pretty. I would say this is a place for adults and not family. Our room was superb. It had a private balcony overlooking the lake. We also had a fireplace. The bathroom was gigantic with an old fashion bathtub. The walk in shower had a door to the outside. The room was very nice and I would highly recommend staying here.
