Better than ever!

We started staying at the Chateau shortly after it opened several years ago. It was wonderful then, but is even better now. They have added a restaurant, which is absolutely magnificent, a bar, and a spacious outdoor deck/dining area. They also added about a dozen more rooms, which are beautifully decorated and provide a nice view of the lake. Many of the improvements can be attributed to the hands-on involvement of the new General Manager, Michael Spencer. We stayed one night on the way to visit family in California, and one night on the way home. Michael met us each time with a glass of champagne and friendly conversation. The chef at the restaurant created wonderful presentations of delicious meals, both dinner and breakfast. We had the filet mignon both nights. They were perfection! This is a great property on a beautiful residential lake.

Had an Amazing al fresco dinner, Lakeside. Unparralled Service, delectable dishes, well prepared and executed by a new Chef on board, and the GM Mr. Michael Spencer overseeing the operations with panache and aplomb. A must visit destination when in Palm Desert!!!

Wonderful space.

We stopped here on a whim and it was one of the most magical places we’ve been. Paul was the one that checked us in and he has hospitality down! He went above and beyond any expectation. I was blown away with how beautiful this place was. Very quaint and intimate setting. I would love to go back.

Perfect Getaway!

First off the staff couldn't be better. Welcome champagne as soon as we walk in the door. Three times they asked me if I needed help with my luggage. Very helpful to say the least. Then they walk you up to your room. The room was amazing exactly what you see on the website. No trickery here. Lots of space. Vintage style bath tub, shower with its own walkout porch and of course a veranda with a lakeside view. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in the Palm Springs area Miramonte ,Westin to name a few, this would have to be my favorite. Nothing against those big resorts but The Chateau gives you the intimate feel that I prefer. More personal to say the least. If that's what you like, definitely give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely for families, great water sports, friendly staff. Do not get a bed!!!! £50 each for a sunbed, oh but that is for the day! Great for children and always a lovely breeze ...... staff are friendly , but a family vibe..... not for couples.
