Beautiful boutique hotel
Reviewed 3 months ago

Chateau at Lake La Quinta has become our go to in Palm Springs. Rooms are warm and inviting and have a great view of the lake. Melange was great for every meal. Had the pool area mostly to ourselves. The manager's champagne welcome was new but much appreciated!
See you again soon

Beautiful quiet place!

Everything was great. We were greeted with champagne by Steve. We were a little early but our room was available. Steve escorted us to our room and offered to assist with our luggage. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi before dinner. Our dinner was fantastic. Great menu and a lot to choose from. We had a lovely lakeside table so the obeisance was super. The gentle night lighting was really pretty. I would say this is a place for adults and not family. Our room was superb. It had a private balcony overlooking the lake. We also had a fireplace. The bathroom was gigantic with an old fashion bathtub. The walk in shower had a door to the outside. The room was very nice and I would highly recommend staying here.

Secret gem

This little gem of a hotel was a nice surprise. The rooms are kept nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. The view over the lake is beautiful and then add the fire bowls and twinkly lights and you have a romantic and quiet location to have dinner. The food was very tasty too! I highly recommend staying at this 24 room hotel.

Over priced low value for money

Recently stayed at this property. Paid way too much for this supposedly deluxe room. It was tired to say the least. Beds are old and soft, rooms are as gauche as you get and oppressively decorated with horrible lighting. They bank on the fact it is the only place in the valley with a water feature, which is pretty enough but not worth It.

Staff are nice but the property is not a resort and rooms are more like a super 8. They charge $25/day resort fee. Resort fee means a surface parking stall if available, wi-if and a newspaper. A total rip off.

If you are thinking about staying at this place, and you can get if for $89, maybe, other than that give it a miss.

Better than ever!

We started staying at the Chateau shortly after it opened several years ago. It was wonderful then, but is even better now. They have added a restaurant, which is absolutely magnificent, a bar, and a spacious outdoor deck/dining area. They also added about a dozen more rooms, which are beautifully decorated and provide a nice view of the lake. Many of the improvements can be attributed to the hands-on involvement of the new General Manager, Michael Spencer. We stayed one night on the way to visit family in California, and one night on the way home. Michael met us each time with a glass of champagne and friendly conversation. The chef at the restaurant created wonderful presentations of delicious meals, both dinner and breakfast. We had the filet mignon both nights. They were perfection! This is a great property on a beautiful residential lake.
