Yes, it’s an oasis in the middle of Cairo

We stayed 4 nights and thought the food, service and accommodations were terrific. Cairo is very bustling and can be very hot so to return to a cool, quiet, serene hotel was bliss. Staff couldn’t have been better and all the food we had was delicious. Many thanks to the Kempinski staff.

An oasis in the centre of Cairo

We are in the Kempinski. Leave tomorrow morning. Just had a couple of nights here, but it’s been great. Staff at breakfast were brill and the breakfast probably the best on this trip. Jazz bar was relaxing and got to listen to Michelle Round last night. Awesome! The rooms was spotless, room service couldn’t do more for you. If you want a hotel that you can go walking out from, this might not be the one. That said I don’t think there are many if any you are advised to do so from. If I had to be picky the WiFi drops out quite often, but hey it’s free and when it’s on its pretty quick.

Dress code for the restaurants at all meals is smart casual. Long trousers etc

An oasis in the hustle and bustle of Cairo

Our family really enjoyed our 3 night stay. After a long day of seeing the sites in the hustle and bustle of Cairo, it was such a great feeling to enter into the calm and luxury of the Kempinksi.

A special thanks to Aya from the spa who gave my wife a spa treatment that was truly memorable.

Completely Worth It!!!

Kempinski Nile was an absolutely wonderful experience. Arrival and check-in was quick and easy. After I went to my Nile Deluxe Room on the third floor and decided I wanted to move to a higher floor, the front desk was quick to make that happen with no hassle at all. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a nice mini bar and the best beds ever. Your butler is always on call to answer any question you have or coordinate anything you need. Even before I arrived at the hotel. I contacted the concierge to see about coordinating for tours during my stay. They quickly suggested an itinerary with cost and tailored my trip to my preferences. They made all the arrangements I needed, to include personal guides and transportation. The restaurants are exceptionally good with delicious dishes and a very luxurious look. The breakfast is totally worth it (it was included in my rate). Plenty to choose from and selections for the healthy and less than healthy sides. The rooftop pool was great for a dip after a long day around Cairo and the atmosphere in the evening was perfect for a nice drink and flavorful chicha. The final great thing about this hotel is that it's not humongous like other 5-star hotels along the Nile. The size made it quaint, but the luxury made it completely worth it! I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Cairo. Thank you Kempinski Nile!

not worth the price

Hotel rooms are really small. I had booked a Triple room, however, once the extra bed was added, there was no room for any movement. Very small congested hotel. The moment you walk in, did not get a feel of 5*. Lobby / reception area not impressive at all. No refreshments served upon arrival. Very small hotel. Breakfast room also congested. Staff not friendly. Bathroom not impressive. Hotel was really a disappointment for me. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for 5* comfort. I was very disappointed with this hotel.
