How to Get There
Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay for our family reunion. We had a large group and therefore stayed on the 7th & 8th floors of the hotel. The rooms were all great, spacious, very clean and comfortable. All 3 generations were pleased. My cousins and I all stayed with young children and we are so glad we picked this hotel as the rooms had a kitchen and living area, and we were also able to enjoy the hot tub in one of the rooms. We also loved how central the hotel was...right in the village... great location.
I would like to add how great all the staff at Sundial were with ensuring that we had an enjoyable stay. From planning and organizing such a big group, Lisa the group coordinator was informative, professional, and answered our many questions in a very timely manner...always responsive with both phone calls and emails. And she did a fantastic job in organizing all the rooms for us. She also provided great recommendations for our large group with catering, restaurants, and activities.
When we checked into the hotel, front desk (where we were warmly greeted by Deanna & Robert) went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check in for all of us. Prior to arriving, we had a slight discrepancy with the booking dates, I called front desk and spoke to Robert and he resolved the issue so promptly that by the time we arrived, everything had been ironed out already and we were able to check in right away. Superb. Front desk was also always pleasant to deal with if any of us had any questions during our stay.
We were also given excellent service by the housekeeping staff (Maddy and Susannah). We had mentioned upon booking that we were travelling with an infant. And upon arrival, a crib was already set up in the room and we were also provided with a diaper genie. And Susannah left a lovely note for the children and left them cute little stuffies. it was a nice surprise for the kids to come back to. It is the little attentive details like these that made our stay so pleasant. In our experience with other hotels, we've had to request for cribs, diaper genies etc. so it was just great that everything had already been set up for us! very impressed.
Lastly, all of the valet staff were a pleasure to deal with whenever we needed our car.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!
Having stayed at the Sundial multiple times as well as various other hotels in the village I can honestly say it is the best. From service to location everything is always excellent. Can't wait to return in the winter. The hot tub suite is totally worth the extra, I would strongly suggest upgrading to a personal hot tub room.
We stayed here for 5 nights in a 2 room mountain view suite on a stay 3 nights and get 2 free deal. Very central location with super easy access to all the village’s facilities.
Valet parking made arrival easy and good lift access to the spacious air conditioned suite. Great views of the mountain bike circuit and ski lifts.
Plenty of room for us and our visiting family. The slightly quirky ‘jack and jill’ twin bathroom layout gives you 2 showers but only 1 toilet so best when sharing with family!
Internal access possible to Black’s bar and restaurant which we did frequent
Disabled access notes (wife has reduced mobility and uses a walker/ wheelchair). Generally good access throughout with easy lift access to rooms and parking levels . Suite is wheelchair friendly. Walk in shower is not wheelchair accessible but is better than most with only a small step in. (We take our own sucker type grab rails).
A perfect hotel in the best location.
First off the lobby was warm and welcoming. The hot apple cider was a nice treat.
The room we had was massive and had a fantastic view of the valley.
The kitchen/living room area was well stocked and the complimentary chocolates were a nice touch.
The hotel is right in the centre of all the action in Whistler but the rooms were still quiet.
I will definitely stay here again.
Great location, just wished the hot tub worked specially we paid so much extra to have the hot tub. I wish the rooms were more updated and modern. The one great thing about the hotel is it's location and that's it.
