Amazing suit
Edit L

We stayed in this gorgeous hotel for 4 nights. We book a room and also a suit. The suit was so spacious that felt like we are in a real home. I especially loved that we had a fabulous balcony. We were almost fully satisfied except for one service: breakfast. It was very slow and unprofessional, definitely not worth the money we had to pay for it.

Enjoyable start to a cruise

We booked an executive room at Trump Hotel, Vancouver, to start a back to back cruise to Australia. Our stay was very enjoyable, the room was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Facilities in the room were excellent too, as you would expect. We would definitely book again on our next visit to Vancouver.

Excellent Staff

Everyone we spoke with was very professional and kind. The ice and additional cups that we requested were delivered very quickly. We loved the room design and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We took advantage of the fitness area and the hot tub. The property met most of our expectations.

I’ll start by saying that we were originally booked at the Shangri La, but we had to change our reservation last minute and the Trump hotel was available at a lower price so we booked there instead. We went in expecting the two properties to be similar.

We were disappointed that we could hear noises from the hallway and adjacent rooms. The wifi stopped working several times. We also ordered room service and the table was never removed from our room, even though we called. None of these things were a big deal, it just didn’t quite meet our expectations of a 5 star hotel.

The pool area was also a bit surprising. We were very happy to find that the hotel had an indoor pool (a bonus in Vancouver). This pool is in a bar/nightclub area. I can see how it could be fun to have a party there, but it definitely wasn’t the luxury spa vibe we were looking for. We were the only people there, so it felt kind of like the movie The Shining. Gold and velvet grand room with nobody in it.

Overall the hotel is great and we had a good experience. It was just different than what we had in mind when we booked it.
