This was most exciting to visit Vancouver again. We went to lunch and saw the city. Then returned for a relaxing night. We really had a wonderful time. We went to breakfast 🍳 in a really nice restaurant in the Hotel.

Fantastic stay but...

The good: amenities, great gym and pool. Location, heart beat of Vancouver, right smack in the middle of Downtown. Price, fantastic. Room, at first felt small but after 3 minutes it was exactly what I needed. Livingroom, bathroom, bedroom. All clean, very modern with amazing views. Quiet and comfortable.

The bad: horrible internet speeds. TV was there but couldn't use it most of the time as there was no signal. Called front desk was told connection on back of TV is wonky. Not true. I work in the industry. It's the provider. If you look at my other 100's of hotel reviews the issue is always with Shaw. I was offered a repair guy but at 11PM I'm going to bed. Internet... my grandma had faster service.

Overall: would stay here again but... I need entertainment on business trips like working TV. I need high speed to work. Very disappointed in the choice of technology.

Management recommendations: if you sell a pop can at $5 no one will buy it. Price it at $3 and you'll actually sell your mini bar contents while still making profit. 7-11 is across the street.

Very nice hotel in the city center

Normally we don’t like to stay at downtown hotels but this time we were glad we did. The hotel is centrally located and ideal for walking around the city. Plus it’s not very far from the airport.
Staff is very friendly and professional - something that is a bit rare in well frequented downtown hotels (we travel a lot and don’t always experience such friendly service in hotels that are centrally located and hence popular!).
The breakfast room is lovely with a lot of natural light and great views.
What especially struck us was the warmth and professionalism of the concierge desk and valet parking. Worth using it for the great experience.
We will definitely be back.

Surprisingly family friendly

Have stayed at this hotel for at least the last ten years for business and as a couple. We have platinum elite status and enjoy the benefits of the Starwood and Marriott loyalty programs. My most recent visit was long and included my three children (all under 5 yrs) and lasted almost two weeks. I view the Westin as more of an ‘adult’ property compared to Sheraton, courtyard Marriott etc. However, the staff went above and beyond to make our family comfortable and accommodated. Every request was granted and staff did everything they could to help me out when I was alone with the kids during the day. We’d show up for breakfast and the server would have ‘our table’ ready with orange juice cups with lids and straws: important when you have hungry little kids. From the front desk, to the bell hops, concierge, and serving staff, the hotel went above and beyond. Staff should be applauded for their service. Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely hotel close to the downtown core which is everything !!!
Pool is lovely as well as the fitness room
Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Bar and grill here but I didn’t eat there. Looked small and cosy.
I think this space is exceptional in its proximity to a lot of tourist stuff and games theatre etc !!!
