How to Get There
We were in Vancouver for our wedding in April & stayed at the Shangri-La. It was absolutely amazing! We received a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite, which had a king bed, sitting area, two balconies, jacuzzi tub, etc. Complimentary champagne, a gourmet cupcake & chocolate dipped strawberries were delivered to our room too. The service we received doesn't compare to any other hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff made us feel like royalty. Words can't describe how much we enjoyed our stay!!! Also, the location is pretty great too. Thank you to everyone who worked April 17-19, you made our stay very special.
Inner city bliss! It provides an oasis within the city center. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, You feel like you are in the Orient. The hotel is within walking distance of anything downtown, and the Canada Line. The only negative is the price, but I guess you get what you pay for!
I was here on business and this was a great place to have as our home base for a week. The service was great. The rooms were nice. And Connie the bartender was a blast a Market. It's definitely the type of place you need to be on a business trip.
We stayed five nights at this hotel, and the people were helpful and friendly from the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeping staff to the service staff. The entire place and the people exude class.
This hotel is in a great location with the sea, convention centre and shops being within a few minutes walk. The rooms we stayed in were spacious and luxurious including the bathrooms. However what really made our stay special was the service provided by the staff. They were all friendly and professional ensuring that everything ran smoothly but with added little touches which together made you feel valued and relaxed. A special mention to Vicky the deputy manager who arranged things for when we returned to the hotel after a few days break on Vancouver Island - a suitcase we left was in our room with a selection of fruit to welcome us back. Just one example of the wonderful service we experienced. We would also recommend eating at the hotel as the breakfasts and dinners we had were superb.
