How to Get There
Everyone made me feel at home. From the restaurant to the spa to the valets to the housekeepers, they were all pros. Also the location seemed to be steps from everything, which was handy.Great hotel, great staff, great stay!
This hotel truly was exceptional! Customer Service was amazing from check in to check out. The rooms were beautiful. We also had drinks in the bar, breakfast and a great meal for our work function. I look forward to staying sgain!
Coming from Hong Kong I find North American hotels usually fall short of the high level of personal and attentive service - but this was not the case with Vancouver Shangri-La. The services were truly personal and exceptional - everything from the reception (the lady very kindly gave us hand warmers knowing that Whistler was going to be our next stop) to the valet (the guys loaded bottles of water into our car knowing that we were going to drive for a few hours). This level of attention is truly rare in North American hotels and koodos to them for being so nice and hospitable! The rooms was quite spacious, the hotel is centrally located and was very close to shops, parking and restaurants. We dined at the hotel restaurant too - the staff were equally attention and the food (especially the appetizers) were amazing. You won’t go wrong staying with Shangri-La Vancouver.
Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La I’m Vancouver. Our King room was large in space and well appointed. We ate at the Market restaurant in the hotel and cannot rave enough about how delicious the food was. The staff in the hotel and wait staff in the restaurant are all top notch. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
It was such a pleasure to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver even though it was shorter than I had planned given Air Canada delayed my arrival by 13 hours.
Put simply, everything works as you expect so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The room facilities were comprehensive and are uncomplicated and intuitive in their operation. Wifi is fast, breakfast was delicious from the a la carte menu, concierge very helpful and approachable and the staff universally welcoming, follow through promptly on requests and seek to anticipate your needs. I also found the location excellent for the sightseeing and shopping I did in Vancouver.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again when next in Vancouver.
