Overview

Sleek, business-friendly digs in North Vancouver with arresting views of the city’s famous skyline

The Lowdown

Downtown Vancouver may have all the action, but this discreet, friendly hotel – just a five-minute ferry or car ride away — offers something you can’t get in the heart of town: jaw-dropping views of the city skyline. Rooms are decorated for maximum coziness, featuring warm autumnal tones and teddy bears on the beds, all with Juliet balconies to take advantage of the snowcapped-mountain and waterfront vistas. Tuck into afternoon tea or a hearty brunch at the Lobby Lounge on weekends, or sample the best of the Pacific Northwest – mussels, crab cakes and chowder galore – at dinnertime, when you can even bring your own bottle of wine.

In the Area

When on the North Shore, do as the Canadians do: Head directly outdoors. Explore Lighthouse Park, a 185-acre rainforest with old-growth Douglas firs, then continue the tree hugging at the astounding Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where the titular feature is a 450-foot-long bridge spanning the Capilano River that looks plucked from an adventure movie. Miniature travelers in tow? Head to family-friendly Maplewood Farm for pony riding and animal feeding.

Hotel for a Cruise trip
B R

If you are looking for a hotel to stay for a day or two ( especially after a cruise to Alaska) then this Hotel is a good place to stay. It is easily accessible by taking the Sea Bus that is located (walking distance) beside the Cruise ship port. the Halls were clean, our room was clean and neat., full length swimming pool, and a gym with contemporary equipment.. Breakfast was great as well. If you can, get a room facing the harbor so that you can see the cruise ships.

Perfect but Pricey

Lovely, new hotel in perfect location at the bottom of Lonsdale in North Vancouver. It is a little tricky to drive into the check in area, and parking is underground with no valet parking available. However the hotel is immaculate, staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms have extra touches (window between shower and sleeping area). You step out the door of the hotel onto a seawall walk with restaurants and shops within minutes walk. The hotel is pricey but perfect.

Not up to my expectations.

My room (without any ocean view) and its average decor do not make this hotel special. I chose an ocean front hotel and had expected an ocean view or at least a more pleasant window view. We had great service in your lobby restaurant.
