Overall my stay was very nice ..However I did find the venue so big ...a lot of ladies complained about all the walking ...You know we never wear the most comfortable shoes ... But the hotel was very nice ...Perhaps the open escalator area could use a new look

Not clean!

I was shocked by how poor housekeeping was at this property. For the class of hotel It really was a disappointment. There was a layer of dust on the light fixtures in the bathroom, there were water stains on the bathroom mirror. There was so
much dust accumulated on the bathroom fan that it couldn’t draw any air, the hair dryer was sticky and there were hairs in the tub from the previous guest. I mentioned this all at check out with a reaction of “I’m sorry, I’ll speak with house keeping.” I usually stay at The Sutton Place but thought I’d try something different but I now regret my decision. I’ll be back at The Sutton Place for my next visit to Vancouver.

Great hotel great location

We were so impressed with this hotel. Its location is second to none with views over the harbour, Stanley Park and Grouse mountain in the distance. It’s stunning! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room very well appointed. The only down side was the rather poor shower power.
The hotel is very well located - on the waterfront yet close to downtown Vancouver and within walking distance of Gastown and the Waterfront station which connects directly to the airport. We would definitely recommend this hotel and have already booked a return trip!

First time to west coast
Reviewed 3 days ago

This was our first visit to the west coast. This is a nice hotel . We had an early morning and our room had no coffee in it, room service had not yet started when we were getting ready to head out and the front desk seemed unable to assist in any way . Coffee should be simple to manage. Bed was comfortable, we had a view of the cruise ships and watched one sail out .. easy walking distance to several nearby bars and restaurants.
