How to Get There
Wonderful hotel with amazing views. Although we wasn’t lucky enough to have a sea facing room we were more than happy with the allocated 14th floor spacious room. This hotel is so handy for the cruise terminal, Stanley Park, hop on hop off buses, grouse mountain free shuttle and fly over Canada. We stayed for 2 nights pre cruise and wanted to bring the enormous bed away with us. We had breakfast in the hotel the first morning, although we enjoyed it there are much cheaper options close by.
We spent ages on the pool deck watching the seaplanes. Gastown is really close to wander to in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again.
Our 3rd stay at the Pan Pacific, on this occasion a wonderful ending - Post Japan/Alaska cruise. Wonderful welcome & an immediate upgrade to an Executive room on 21st floor ! We've always been given a high floor room with fabulous water side view, this room was even higher / better. We loved this stay as much as ever, super comfortable room, super comfy bed, superb staff ! Staff who are wonderfully helpful, efficient, friendly, just ask the concierge he knows all. As always we had close views of the sea planes taking off/landing, Stanley Park, far away snow capped mountains all hard to beat. The handy proximity for shuttle buses for various attractions & quality restaurants cannot be beaten, excellent. We even walked most of the way to Granville Island although we took the quick 5mins ferry over at the end of the road. Despite there being many lovely hotels in Vancouver, for ease of embarkation/disembarkation to/from any cruise we simply wouldn't stay anywhere else ! Bliss !
Beautiful hotel excellent view from our room Friendly and helpful staff service was excellent a great start to our Canadian holiday close proximity to shopping precincts harbour and services

Well this is certainly a high end hotel and our room with two queen beds was absolutely gorgeous. And the bed was very comfortable with loads of pillows. We had a city view from a high floor which was spectacular. The baggage transfer to the cruise ship worked extremely well which is a definite bonus. Not five stars for my review, however, as it is in a large building including a conference centre which seems very impersonal - I found the size strange and not to my personal taste. Undoubtedly beautiful, however.
The hotel is beautiful. You can't beat the location for leaving on an Alaskan Cruise. The airlines lost our luggage, and the hotel brought us a goodie bag with toothbrushes, tooth paste, deodorant, and more.
