How to Get There
Great location, rooms are nice, beds extremely comfortable. The heated outdoor pool and gym are great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location and close to everything. Highly recommend the Hyatt Vancouver.
Loved it - great location, food and outstanding service. The room was clean, spacious with a lovely bathtub and great view of the city. I had the kale salad and it was absolutely delicious. Every staff person I dealt with was excellent.
Since became a member of other hotel chains, this time we “sacrifice” our point to try to stay at HYATT based on the reviews!
With high expectations, we were suprised to see : PAPER CUPS inside the room (from the Starbuck down bellow) & AN EMPTY FRIDGE! (mmm... are we in the “no star” Motel who never trust the customers with drinks inside the room-fridge?)
But John from the Customer Service is a GEM! A hero who helped us with doctor appointment (went allll the way with me to the clinic), let us borrow the wheelchair & found the nicest taxi driver to take us to the airport & helped us with our ski bags! (All of this because my husband injured himself while skiing in Whistler on our last run!💔). BTW, almost everyone I asked for help in the Customer Service/Bell Captain they were all super helpful!!
The online checking also was the winner!! Quick & no hassle!
The elevator with only floor you can go was a bit scarry
Room was spacious and kept very clean. Restaurant & Lounge, although pricey, was excellent for food and service. The bed was very comfortable - would love to have it at home and location was perfect to everything and right next to the Burrard train station. Would stay here for sure, but in a room that is not a connecting room (baby in the joining room-lol).
This is the only Hyatt I believe in Vancouver. I have to admit that this hotel is in a good location. It’s only 5 mins walk from the Vancouver center station. But I think that’s it. The room is average and a bit outdated. The sound proofing is really really bad. I can hear the man in the room next to me coughing and moaning all night and it was very hard for me to fall asleep. The sound just penetrates the wall so easily. If you want a quiet room, this is probably not the hotel for you.
