Wonderful Getaway

Getaways are special. Even a one-night getaway is a rejuvenating break, which we had recently at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

Each staff person we dealt with was very personable, attentive and willing to help, making us feel welcome.

Our hotel room was spacious, tastefully appointed and modern. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great city view from the balcony.

The Hyatt Regency’s downtown central location was perfect for walking & exploring….a great getaway activity.

In our early December visit we were treated to a beautiful fund raising display of gingerbread structures, with donations going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The paid parking is easily accessible off Burrard (going southbound). When parking look to park in a section near the Hyatt elevator, which then is very convenient to get to the hotel lobby. The hotel's computerized elevator system is amazing.

This hotel is located in a great location close to everything and is walkable! The negatives are parking, it is an extra charge and expensive about $30-40 per night. Canada doesn't have spot hero (Parking app that saves $) so we did pay about $50 for parking for 2 nights - I parked at the garage with the hotel and paid at the meter instead of paying at the front desk as the front desk cost is higher then the machine in the parking garage? (I thought this was odd) The pool and jacuzzi are outside, of course the pool is heated but its rather cool. The jacuzzi wouldn't be bad but its winter.

Exceptional stay, great location, amazing experience

From check in to check out I was extremely pleased with the service and comfort of my stay. I would definitely recommend this location to any business or pleasure travel. My one wish is that they had a sauna but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Best hotel stay ever.

This hotel is the best value for your dollar and most comfortable stay I've ever had. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was updated and very clean. Rain shower was to die for! Location can't be beat either. Close to Pacific Centre and Art Museum!

Excellent people and excellent service

I was at the hotel Nov 30 and Dec 1, 2018. The service was excellent, particularly the registration desk (who upgraded my room as a member), the bellman's service, the brunch chef and wait staff in the 2nd floor restaurant. Loved the gingerbread house competition. Clean rooms and comfy bed. Spectacular views.
