How to Get There
Excellent services and very friendly staff.i highly recommend family atmosphere great swimming pool and excellent food.very nice place to relax and very clean hotel.my family used this hotel atleast ones very two months.
Was such a nice experience and room facilities they have, the bed is so comfortable and the room is neat and relaxing. Televesion has HD and sounds great, only thing you need slippers if you stay longer. Towels and robes are exceptionally tidy. The food in all casino restos are great. Can’t wait to stay again.
Booked as the nearest hotel for the Richmond Night Market. Took advantage of the free parkade/parking. Stayed in a 2BR suite in the West tower with family. Immaculately clean, spacious, water, coffee and TV in every room. Some soundproofing in the rooms but need to be able to put up with the nearby airport traffic noise. Splurged on Sunday brunch, lots of selection: hot and cold items as well as typical Asian fare for the area. Hours were a little unusual - shut down at 1030. Enjoyed the pool/waterslide. . . twice. Changerooms & towels provided. Not the most affordable hotel in the area but nice to know you get what you pay for.
Good location close to the airport. In our case it was at the exact location of the Quickshuttle bus stop coming from Seattle with lots of luggages, so it was perfect as we were renting a car close by the next day.
We found it really overpriced for what it was though hence the "good for a night" comment.
Rooms are ok and very clean, the staff is fine. Nothing to complain about other than the price. Didn't try the casino.
This was my first stay at River Rock Casino Resort Hotel. I spent the weekend here with my wife and we stayed at the west wing. Overall, I had a great stay at River Rock Casino Hotel Resort. The room was a suite with a king size bed, couch, mini bar fridge, mini vault, desk, ironing board, iron, two TVs, a pretty big bathroom, hair dryer, extra pillows, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The view was nice because every so often I would see a plane fly overhead. Sound insulation was good too because it wasn't as noisy as expected. It was a 5-8 mins walk to the parking garage and children cannot cut through from the casino. Parents with kids must walk to the hotel on the building outskirt. Hotel lobby was clean and the room was clean as well. Bed was comfy and pillows were plenty. Bed sheets and towels are clean and fresh. There are two elevators on each wing. The speed of the elevator was OK. Check-in and check-out Staff was nice and housekeeping staff was nice too. There are restaurants in the casino, Starbucks in the hotel lobby, giftshop, and a theatre. Other shopping centres are close by and accessible via Canada Line train. The location is very convenient and parking is free.
So why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars since I was praising my stay at the hotel. Any complaints? Yes, I do but it wasn't addressed because I don't believe the staff could do anything about it. The hotel WIFI was terrible...none of my devices could get a "decent" reception. Signal strength on my devices were either 1 bar or none in the entire room. I even went out onto the hallway from end to end and still couldn't get a decent signal strength. I had to use my data on my phone to access my email and surf the web. However, if you have a laptop you can connect the laptop via Ethernet cable on the desk. My second complaint was parking on a weekend evening at River Rock Casino Hotel Resort was not good either. I had to park on the top floor of the parking garage because there were a lot of cars. There was also traffic congestion outside the resort due to Richmond Night Market. Lastly the check-in staff didn't tell me about the amenities available for hotel guests...it's no big deal but it would be nice to know.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at River Rock Casino Resort. Thank you for your hospitality!
