Modern condo-hotel with a pool and spa just a five minute walk from Main Street Breckenridge
Ski condos can be a total bore: dated architecture, confusing layouts, worn furnishings. Not so with this new-build, all-condo resort. BlueSky Breckenridge’s sophisticated, spacious units range from one to four bedrooms, and the feel here is more boutique hotel than condo. BlueSky is as refreshing as a breath of Breckenridge’s rarefied mountain air.
Bed and Bath
All of the uniquely decorated units feature gas fireplaces and full kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Multi-bedroom units are laid out well, with bedrooms far enough apart for privacy. Expect modern Rocky Mountain style, with lots of leather, stone and nature-themed art.
At the base of the Snowflake Lift, guests have hiking access in summer and ski-in, ski-out access to Breckenridge Resort’s 2,358 powdery acres in the winter. After a day on the mountain, the year-round pool and its three steamy jetted hot tubs are great for warming up (or cooling off). It’s only a five-minute walk or a free shuttle ride to Breckenridge’s bustling Main Street, which is lined with restaurants, bars and shops. An adventure center (guided hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing), a winter ski concierge and a full-service spa that draws a local crowd round out the perks and help BlueSky redefine the ski resort condo.
In the Area
The Spa at Breckenridge is a full-service day spa (also open to non–hotel guests) that offers a range of treatments, from manicures to massage, designed to relax the mind and body. Food Hedz, the official catering company of BlueSky Breckenridge, can do private catered meals upon request. If you want to stay in and enjoy a relaxed dinner in the comfort of your condo (without spending the day cooking), it’s a great option. Breckenridge’s Main Street is packed with dining options, but Kenosha Steakhouse is one of the best, with one of the few outdoor patios in town and lots of local brews on tap. For something more casual try Downstairs at Eric’s, which has long been revered for its satisfying pub grub. For a serious adrenaline rush, go for a ride down the SuperSlide, which is part of the Peak 8 Fun Park. The luge-style course is Breck’s most celebrated warm weather attraction. The park also has a big-air trampoline, a climbing wall and a mountain-bike park.
