Great hotel right on private beach
Reviewed 13 hours ago

If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle from copacabana beach and be at a hotel right on it's own private beach, this is the hotel for you. The swimming pool is great and we had breakfast on the patio next to the beach. Definitely get a seaview room.
I was a bit disappointed with the fine dining restaurant's food, but the service was impeccable.
Main restaurant food very good.
Great for a romantic getaway but also families with small children.

We will be coming back

This hotel exceeded all expectations. It was safe, the beach access a highlight, the service was great, and the views of Rio is amazing. The room size was good for two people, the pool a great place to enjoy the ambiance. The Michelin Star L'Etoile Restaurante exceeded all expectations - we had the degustation, every course was so tasty and exquisitely presented.

Best bartender ever !

If you are looking to enjoy a fabulous Martini in Rio de Jabeiro made by a super nice bartender ....look no further.
Stop by the Dry Martini lounge located on the pool level of the Sheraton Hotel and Resort near the posh Leblon neighborhood and watch the super friendly and corteous Luciana make the best and prettiest drinks you will find in Rio.
One tip ;
Her wasabi Martini is incredible.

Great Experience but not kid friendly

it was a great location and a place to stay. We stayed for 7 nights and it was fun. the Staff wouldnt let us throw a football around even it was sponge and wouldn't hurt anyone. The kids were disappointed and so were we.

Mixed feeling

I am a lifetime platinum member and arriving in Rio on an international flight means arriving very early. The great thing was that they honored my request for an early check-in... by 09:00am, I was in a nice room with a great view...BUT, the room was next door to the elevator shafts. This is very noisy and very disturbing. Even though my profile strictly says “away from elevator”, this was not respected. Maybe it was the only room they had available, I do not know.... as it was for one night only, I did not request to change rooms. I will be back next week with a group of 3 other people, for 2 nights. Hopefully I get a different room. They are extremely friendly, breakfast in the lounge on the 26th floor is sumptuous with great variety, but I missed the “pão de queijo “. Fruit juices and fruits were incredible. If it was not for the elevator noise, it would have been another great stay.
