CREEPY PLACE

Made a reservation at this hotel for a couple of nights, I had to leave after the 1st night and check into a different hotel in the area, the rooms smelled like mold and looked like it wasn't cleaned properly for a while, ac didn't work, staff was extremely rude, creepy people stopping you for money right in front of the hotel, weird bugs crawling around the room, I can go on and on. Bottom line you get what you pay for!!
Stay in Leblon, much nicer place, better hotels, safer area's etc....

Never seen a worse hotel then this

I walked into the Hotel, and I was greeted by some nasty receptionist by the name of marcello. Besides for the fact he barely knew any English. And Beware to carry all your baggage because they don't have a trolley to carry anything. Did you ever see a hotel without a trolley?
I came into the hot humid and dense Room, With a fetid smell of mold. Besides for the fact the room is claustrophobic.
When I went to take a shower, i was again treated by none other than a nast water bug. Check out the photo attached.
The whole hotel experience Was a Disaster. Be wise and go to a different hotel.

Horrible nasty personel cased us to sleep in the hotel lobby

I came to the hotel at 2:00 AM , after booking rooms online. After bringining in all the baggage (which took a while), we started filling out the forms. Then the receptionist told us we all need passports. For all kids and babies. When i offered photos of passports, he said IT WONT WORK. At this point my sprinter had already left the hotel, and i coudnt get through to him. So now at already 3 AM, me and my familly are stuck in rio in some hotel lobby . So i ask for a mannager , so maybe he is just slightly smarter than the first stubborn mule. Amd the receptionist tells me he is sleeping. Yes , thats what mannagers are for. They sleep when you need them.Finnaly with nothing to do and nowhere to sleep, we "slept" in the hotel lobby on the couches. To say we slept wiill be a lie. Because there was music playing in the lobby. When we asked tho receptionist to please lower the volume or shut it off completley, he said he has no access. Yeah right, the music is probally controled by the CEO in his house.
Just a wise tip to all, dont step foot in this hotel(if you can call it a hotel).
