Great location hard beds

I'm sitting here writing this at 4.30am because I am in too much pain to sleep - thank goodness we,are only here 3 days. I suffer with pain in my joints and we have to be careful we don't choose cheap accommodation with hard beds. I did not expect this from a 5* hotel. Apart from the beds location is very good. Lovely but small pool with nice views over Copacabana beach. Great shower, Breakfast plentiful with good choices. Staff some very good and helpful one or two not so good. Also note coffee reasonable price tea very expensive - we ordered tea for 2 to our room and was charged £12. This hotel was booked by a reputable cruise company and I am surprised that they would not choose better quality comfort for their guests . Sorry to say that the level of comfort literally is so bad I am pushed to even offer a two star

Fantastic Deal

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in for a very reasonable price. It has clean room, great roof-top bar and swimming pool with incredible views of the area! Highly recommended. The location cannot be any better.

Location is great.
Breakfast included was very good.
The lobby
has a terrible smell like disinfectant.
Beds were hard as a rock.
Very poor service from the front desk.
No luggage stands available for suitcases.
there were no electric outlet next to the bed. Only USB ports for charging to devices.

Offers the Basics, Plus a nice view!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This hotel offers the basics, plus a great view of the strip and Christ the Redeemer. You have to go to the rooftop in the afternoon and evening to see the amazing views. There was a small pool and bar area but why go to the pool or stay on the rooftop when the beach is literally across the street! This was the biggest selling point for me as I wanted to be by the beach, in an area that’s close enough to shops and restaurants but not inconveniently touristy (ironic). Let’s face it, it is not meant to be a luxury hotel. The room didn’t sport the latest decor and marks of small leaks are still present in the bathroom ceiling. However, it was a good deal and for what we paid, we were pleased. Also, if you’re visiting Rio to stay in a hotel room all day, you’re doing yourself and this marvelous city a disservice. I’d recommend it for a short weekend if you’re visiting to tour the city.
