How to Get There
Wonderfully decorated and located just in front of Old Port. Valet parking easy. Staff excellent with cool striped uniforms. Interesting choice at breakfast with stunning view of Old Port. Had room for 4 with mezzanine and was absolutely fine for 4 adults. Although there were 2 toilets in the room, the only basin was upstairs. Steep wooden staircase to mezzanine could bother some people. Tiny balcony to watch the goings on in summer evenings at the port. Aircon worked well.
Had a lovely stay, staff were welcoming and friendly. A great choice for breakfast. Pleasant bar with a nice atmosphere created by the staff. Relaxing for a night cap. The location is great as a base from which to explore Marseille, very picturesque setting.
I had an excellently designed room overlooking Vieux Port, comfy bed, complimentary water, Nespresso and nothing else left to be desired. I felt spoilt, I felt welcomed, I was happy! Lobby, hallways, bar, actually everywhere in this house, show timeless, maritime aired, calming high-end interior design. I just love this place. After 4 years of business there are surely signs of wear-and-tear that could have been removed, repaired or mended. But these did not reduce my appreciation toward this house. Toiletries from L'Occitane in dispensers are not only signs of high quality but also healthy attitude toward ecology. This was certainly a visit to be repeated. I am coming back by the end of February 2019 and plan to stay longer than the 4 days I spent this November. Thank you everybody!
We recently enjoyed a Uniworld Cruise which began with a three day stay in Marseille before boarding the ship in Avignon. What a beautiful boutique hotel.
Our suite on the top floor had a balcony which overlooked the Old Harbour and most of old town.
The hotel is small so it serves breakfast but has no restaurant for other meals. It does have a nice bar which also overlooks the harbour.
Our suite had lots of closet space and the bathroom was huge, with double marble sinks, a tub and separate shower.
There is no concierge but the folks at the front desk happily made private tour arrangements for us for each day. And there are many fine restaurants in walking distance
Most of the other rooms overlook the harbour as well.
If you’re going to Marseille, you should definitely check this place out. Suites 701 and 702 have the greatest views!
room I got was nicely decorated but very noisy, on the Canebiere side. I was quite disappointing as I had specially requested to have very quiet room....Check in staff was totally indifferent and even asked me if I really booked in their hotel. Amusing as I check in on line and everything were supposed to be ready
