How to Get There
The Conrad bora bora is definitely one of the best hotel in bora bora. We have been at intercontinental thalasso, intercontinental Moana and Conrad. Main pros of the Conrad: state of the art rooms, nice facilities, very friendly staff, good food, nice beach. Main cons: view is less breathtaking, especially when compared with the thalasso; snorkeling is ok, but nothing special (Moana is much better); spa is nice with good view, but nothing incredible.
Prices are unfortunately very high, but this is unfortunately quite common in bora bora.
The management could try to smooth this a little bit, for example offering free shuttle to the airport or to vaitape (given the prices of the rooms they could definitely afford that).
If you are willing to afford the high prices I would definitely recommend the Conrad.
We stayed at the Conrad for the second part of our honeymoon. We researched all of the hotels in Bora Bora and definitely made the right choice by selecting the Conrad. Everything is brand new and the staff is super friendly! If you have a chance to go to the Polynesian dance show, go! We plan on going back in 5 years and staying at the same place. Incredible!
From start to finish, the resort was fantastic. The staff treated you like royalty and the location was ideal for our honeymoon. A once in a lifetime experience. My only negative was that the time to get drinks and meals in the restaurants were slow but in room dining was quicker.
Best hotel I have ever been. No doubt about it.
The structure is new and you have all kind of things to have the best staying. You have free bikes to transfer or ask for a private and free golf kart. The resort is huge.
It is really clean in general, maniacal in every part of the resort. Really impressive.
The staff is very kind (ALL of them) and has always a special attention for you. Example: I forgot my GoPro on a boat of the excursion and from the time I found it out they had already delivered to my room.
The overwater villa is amazing and brand new. We were speechless when entering to the room.
Nothing comparable to what I saw in Tikehau or Moorea. This is higher level.
You even have a Bluetooth audio to connect your iPhone and listen to your music in your room or while taking a swim in front of your villa. Bathroom is huge and bed very comfortable.
Restaurant: we spent most of the time at the French one which is high level indeed. Breakfast has very good quality. Again nothing I have seen in all Tikehau or Moorea. The dinner something really good if you have the half/full board.
Thanks to Reva, Benjamin and all the others I don’t remember the name to make our dinners so nice!!!!
Also at the bar close to the pool you have nice food although expensive. We tried also the Upa Upa for 1 dinner. Sushi is ok but service a bit slow.
Last thing (but it is from the details you see how special this hotel is) we had the flight to Papeete in the evening and they allow us a late check out till 5pm. No words and we were really happy.
I will remember Bora Bora for this hotel and the great staying we had (of course for the island too!).
There are no other hotels I would consider to return, but this one I would really book it again.
Thanks again to Conrad for the nice time.
Room 325 (8-11 Aug 2018)
We stayed at the Conrad for one night to break up our stay at another popular resort on Bora Bora. We were able to check in a couple hours early. The resort is as beautiful as all the other reviews suggest. Things I liked more about this resort:
1) ukulele greeting. Nice touch.
2) Caroline. You couldn’t ask for a better person to greet you.
3) snorkeling there is AMAZING. Saw sting rays and a moray eel & MANY fish.
4) pool is phenomenal
5) use of bicycles was fun
6) spa and its views, breathtaking
7) room modern, clean and comfortable
8) complimentary drinks in refrigerator. (No such thing at the other resort)
9) turn down service included bottle of water. It’s the small things that make you :)
10) Its beautiful and unique in its own way. Wish we could have stayed one more day. Maybe next time,
