Great host, Great Location

The service at this hotel has been great. The breakfast is great and the people are very kind. It is in a great location - not too far from Musek exit on Metro and close to Tram 22. The room is spacious for being in the Old Town. We have a 12 foot ceiling in the bedroom. This has been the least expensive hotel we have staying on the European trip and the largest and nicest room. I would definitely come back here again.

Great!

We had a very pleasant stay, we were here 3 nights. The room was so clean and the breakfast had a good variation every morning. The staff were so friendly and service minded. The location of the hotel was very good, although a bit hard to find but so central with walking distance everywhere. The only thing was the WiFi that had bad reception sometimes. Will definitely come back to this hotel!

Do yourself a favour - stay here

Its the little things that make the difference. From the glass of bubbles on check-in, the nightly finger sandwiches in reception and the friendly staff throughout, this hotel is highly recommended. The room were clean and serviced daily. Free Wi-Fi, Recommend the breakfast option, full buffet on offer. bed were very comfortable and the hotel very quiet (located opposite a police station). Centrally located it was about a 5-10 minute walk to the main tourist hub. Room was large. Very nice "tea and coffee" room located on the ground floor with period furniture. Thoroughly recommended

Very nice!!

Everything was just very clean and very spacious. Good bed & pillows. Very qyiet. Had such a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet was served well. Professional and courteous staff. The price was on the expensive side compared to many other properties in town, but it was worth it for one very comfortable night.

Comfortable

Just returned from unitas hotel after a 3 night stay. Arrived at hotel to early and was greated buy a very friendly member of staff who informed us that our room wasn't ready and if we minded waiting till it became available. She took all our details and took our bags and told us she would see that all would be in our room when we returned from our short walk into the centre of the city. 2 hours later we returned and all had been done. Hotel is lovely and has a lot of interesting history about it. Room was very spacious and beds very comfortable. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to old town square when you get your bearings sorted. A lot of very god restaurants within a short distance to the hotel. Tesco supermarket just around the corner. Headquarters of police service is right outside front door. Have never stayed in a hotel that was so quiet. With all the people that where staying in the hotel and there was quite a lot as we seen at breakfast we only met 1 other couple in the corridors once in our 3 night stay so if it is peace and quiet you are looking then this is the place. All the main attractions in the city are easy accessed by foot as we are keen walkers this was not a problem for us but there is a lot of hop on hop off busses for those who don't fancy a lot of walking. We seen all the main attractions in the 3 nights we where there. Feels safe enough at night even in the quieter streets. Make sure you take your map with you and you can't go wrong. Very well marked out.
I am going to run through a quick marking of our stay and give small explanations to the scoring. Out of 5*

Location *****
Room was a bit cold when we arrived so make sure radiators are turned up to 5 in winter.
Beds comfortable but has 2 single quilts on a double bed.
Television has 1 English speaking channel which is 24hr news which was not great if you like to unwind for a few hours after a long day. DVD player is in room and a dvd collection is available in library but again only about 6/7 English speaking dvds available.
Mini bar in room which was a little expensive so just use Tesco which is much cheaper by far.
Shower is in a very deep bath which was no problem for us but would be very difficult for anyone with less ability to use it. Water was always nice and warm.
Free use of safe and coffee and tea in room.
Now for my only real criticism about the hotel was the breakfast. I seen a lot of comments about how good it was but for me personally this was not the case. First morning went for breakfast and it was non existing. No sausages no scrambled egg no bacon in fact all I had was a piece of bread with a bit of ham on it. Coffee was very cold and after asking for a fresh cup all I got was another cold cup of coffee.i asked if it was possible to get something to eat ,the food was put into the service trolley and when I opened it there was about enough to serve 2 people and it was stone cold.
Second morning went down again and exactly the same thing. Everything was stone cold.
Final morning down at 8.30 and to my surprise the trays where full (still only enough for 2 peoples good breakfasts) This time it was just slightly heated but when the coffee came, well it must have been the same coffee as the day before as it was cold cold. Sorry to give such a bad review on the breakfast but it is what it is. A shame really as this hotel would have scored 5 across the board only for the most important meal of the day to let it down.
Saying all this would not put me off returning here again as everything else about the hotel is superb. Please try to rectify the problem with breakfast. I did hear a few people comment about the same issue about the breakfast but I feel it only right to make these comments known in my review.
