How to Get There
We loved this hotel in the center of Prague.. it is conveniently located close to the train station, close to the major shopping area and yet far away to enjoy some peace and quiet.. the hotel has a huge garden at the back where one can relax or enjoy a meal.. breakfast was usually served in the garden..
We had a family suite which was 2 stories.. included 2 toilets, a kitchenette, beds downstairs for the kids, and a master bedroom upstairs with en-suite bathroom.
Room was clean, neat and well appointed.. all looked very upmarket and luxurious.
Only criticism was that the aircon vents were downstairs.. upstairs did not get cool enough.. however, a fan was provided. Bathroom was great with both a hugh bathtub and a shower. Shower had both a rain shower and a hand held shower.
Safe, fridge and even a microwave were all provided.. staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating... breakfast was a good spread of both hot and cold items.. great buffet.. all common areas looked great.. loved the atmosphere..
I will highly recommend this hotel..
Beautiful hotel with excellent service right in the heart of Prague. We had a family suite which had a loft and was very comfortable for our family of four. Breakfast was presented in a beautiful garden. The kids enjoyed playing chess whilst we were there. All in all great experience. Highly recommend this hotel.
We went with a lot of expectations to this hotel for an important anniversary our 25th
On our check in we were told the spa and gym is under construction
A big let down
We asked for a travel adapter which at first we were told we have to buy it from them !!!!
There entire lobby and all the restaurants the AC WAS NOT WORKING
In this weather with temperatures touching 100 degrees no air conditioning is unheard of
They provide no fans as their explanation is we don’t need them 9 months
Their beds are joined so I guess couples are not welcomed
Ac knob is controlled by housekeeping so we are at their mercy
Vegetarians beware not catering to vegetarians at all
The best Western two buildings away is 1/4 the cost and 4 times better
No evening lounge with a coffee tea facility
LHW u seriously need to reconsider this hotel in your list
Bad bad experience for a 25th anniversary
Never never again
We loved it here. The staff was awesome and the food was good. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed wine in the courtyard.
It is convenient to walking around Prague and also to the metro.
It’s also very safe around the hotel.
The only thing we didn’t like was it was warm in Prague and we couldn’t get the room as cool at night as we like.
We spent 6 wonderful nights at the Grand Mark. The room was exceptional. We were upgraded to a suite which was exceedingly spacious. The included breakfast was quite good. It covered the bases from the American (scrambled eggs, etc.) to the more European cheese and meats, with, of course, fruits and pastries. The courtyard behind the hotel was glorious in the summer--a great place for meals and drinks and to see the peacocks as they wandered through. The staff was uniformly gracious and helpful. We could not have been happier.
