How to Get There
Upon check in, you walk to a nicely purple lit up hotel, through the revolving doors, the first thing you notice is the very pleasant smell greeting you in the hotel bar/reception, it smells so nice and fresh, your then greeted by the main bar area which doubles up as the hotel reception, all Staff here speak English and a very nice and polite, once checked in, up to the room, which is exceptionally clean and hygienic, very modern, 2 comfy beds, TV which has 12 free movies and, playlist built into your own media centre on the TV, from here there is plenty of info on the hotel, weather etc, plus the movies and music, bathroom was very good, with a rain shower in every room plus a normal power shower head, large open plan shower cubicle, and a charger socket for your razor, plus a hair dryer, we were in the second floor, with a balcony, which was very handy to keep our drinks cold given it - 1 outside and the rooms don't come with a fridge unfortunately, just a tea and coffee making facility, rooms are nice and warm with a heater or cool fan built into the ceiling, on every floor there is a vending machine with water, coke beer, chocolate and crisps, which is good for the morning after hang over drink, only problem is because its mixed products, ie crisps chocolate and drink, it's not cold so the drinks are room temperature in order not to harden the chocolate or ruin the crisps, perhaps a seperate machine for cold drinks would be good, also our machine on the 2nd floor ran out of Coke and water and during the 5 days we were there it was not refilled so we had to go to other floors to buy out of machines, and breakfast, I had read good things about breakfast on here at penta, however in my opinion not so Great, we had undercooked cold eggs, egg whites still runny, no toast to speak off, instead a good. Choice of breads pastry jams and butters, making a drink of tea is somewhat confusing as we couldn't find cold milk, assunimg it would be by the cereals, non there so We had to use hot milk from The coffee machine, perhaps a milk dispenser near the tea facilities would be best. All in all a great hotel, positioned just outside of town, with a tram stop just outside to take you to the old Town, or use the electric lime scooters like we did, download the lime app, scan a scooter and away you go, a whole days travelling on one of these at 16mph on the roads only cost us 3.00 pounds per day and is so easy
Good position (tram and metro stations just around a corner), relaxing and cool bar/restaurant. Very kind and friendly stuff willing to immedately solve any issue regarding your stay in hotel.
Recommended for city break, business trip, especially for couples in love (all combinations).
My first ever visit to Prague, chose to stay at the Pentahotel; good location - very close to the metro. Stayed here for 3 nights, the room was immaculate, the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend.
