Pleasant Hotel

Do go to the Sky Lounge for a drink so you can enjoy the quick fun ride on the funicular and the excellent view. We decided to have dinner at their restaurant which was excellent. After a day of touring Prague it was very convenient to not have to leave the hotel property for a drink and meal. The hotel itself is very comfortable with plenty of towels in the bathroom. I hate having to call for extra towels. There is a small balcony attached to each room which allows you to have fresh air in your room. Breakfast was really good with made to order omelets. There were varied other items offered and all that I tried were first rate.

Exceptional service!

We were very pleased with our overall stay at NH Prague City, Mozartova. Our luggage was lost for days. Richard, the night concierge, was very instrumental in helping retrieve it. Thanks again for going well beyond with your assistance! The included breakfast was amazing. Location convenient to our needs and local transportation.

Second stay at NH Prague

We travelled to Prague in February and came back in November as we didn’t get to see all of the city, and its so affordable from the UK. We decided to stay here again after the last trip. It’s very well located from the airport, a 20 min walk into the city and close to a mall and tram/bus station so getting around is very easy.

Good points
The funicular railway/cable car was open again after servicing it was closed the last time we were here. The view from the sky lounge and terrace is wonderful and you have to take the ride if you’re staying here! Breakfast is great - wide selection on offer including freshly cooked eggs as you like them. The breakfast team are always very cheerful. We used the gym and spa area this time (which only has sauna and steam room).

Only real downside is the reception team who aren’t very welcoming - especially important for front of house, one lady rolled her eyes whilst speaking to a guest next to us at check in.
The pillows in the room aren’t very comfortable either and we had to request extra after checking in. All the beds are large single beds which is apparently the same in each room to allow flexibility for guests.

Nice stay

Nice area, close to public transit and shopping. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Interesting layout of the rooms which I found enjoyable. The mall and large transit stop are nearby but the area you have to walk through seems a little sketchy, and at one point there was a burned automobile standing in the parking lot near the hotel. Not the hotel's fault or on their property but just be mindful of the area maybe.

My wife and I are at NH Prague as I write this. The hotel is located close to the new city and about a 5-10 min walk to the mall. There are local restaurants and a grocery store. The hotel itself is a business class hotel. Very clean, service is good and breakfast is a great buffet selection. There is a gym, a bar on premises and two restaurants. The ride to old town where all the attractions are is about 10-15 min on #15 tram. The ride from the airport is about 20-30 min. Read my reviews for the other attractions as they all relate. My wife and I travel the world and I have to say that Prague is beautiful for their architecture. Just amazing. The friendliness and manners of the people, as well as customer service is still up in the air. I haven’t met much good there so far.
