How to Get There
This is not our first visit to prauge so we didnt mind the hotel beeing not in the center. The hotel is near enouge to tram or metro, restaurants and a mall.
During a 4 days stay we mannage to get only one smile from an hotel worker . There was nothing to make us feel welcom at this hotel.
At best they service you but with no polite words, not a smile, nothing to make you want to come back.
upon arrivel we noticed the hotel is near a busy road. It was early and they wanted 30 ero for early c.i . We decided to c. i later but asked the unfreindly reseptionist to please try and find a room as quiet as possible for us. she said something like ha..ha..and didnt do a thing. we decided to trust her .
In the afternon we checked in. again we asked for a quiet room and explained we can not sleep in noise. This time another lady just noded.
We recieved the worst possible room regarding noise !!. No one made an effort. not only the room faced the road but At the corner of the hotel there is one room facing a cross road of 2 roads. This was the room we got. The room was almost at road level, dark and dated with a small window that did not filter the noise.
We had no choice but to go back to the lobby. after we told the lady we will not be able to sleep in this room, she first said the hotel is full but after we asked again polaitly She gave us a nice quiet room facing the park.
Breakfast is o.k . the same evry day. If you dont eat pork or meet selection is more limitted.( for example they make omllets on demand but use both pans for meet so if you are a vegetrian you can not eat an omllete since pans are not cleaned after using meet - why not keep one pan meet free ad some other hotels do?). Soft boiled eggs were cold. There were some vegtables but no dressing .
They do not bring coffe to the table. One day there was a problem with the coffe machine and there was no regular coffe to make so I asked for some coffe to the table. they said o.k but did not bring any. Only one morning there was an older man that looked around and cared about gests lucking something.
There is nothing welcoming or special about this hotel. I think it is mostly for large groups .nothing is complimentary ( almost nothing one day there was a jar of seasoned water at the lobby but this was a one time thing).
If you want room service there is a special basic charge and to that they ad the cost of the order.
the main plus was the room facing the nice park.
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of an 8 night trip. We got the hotel about 1pm to leave our luggage so we could go out and explore. Luckily they were cleaning our room and it was ready in about 10 mins and we were able to check in. Front desk staff was very nice, but the lady who was helping us left and we waited longer than we probably had to. The rooms are a good size with nice clean lines and plenty of pillows. One of the best things about this hotel is the location to public transport. It is only about a seven minute walk to the metro and tram station. It is easy to get anywhere in the city from there. Overall very pleased with this hotel and would visit again.
Stayed over night, pretty good room, clean, friendly staff, only problem I had was their lobby bar which didn't really offer anything intriguing during our meeting on the second day. Close to 5 stars.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a recent trip to Prague for Christmas shopping. The hotel is conveniently located for a number of shopping areas It is close to the Prague's public transport system that is the quickest way to move around town. The hotel is well equipped, the staff are very professional and efficient and the breakfast is good. We would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Prague
Very nice hotel, good location, near subway a big shopping mall (walking distance).Hotel quite, clean, very nice, well organized, staff professional. The breakfast was tasty, just we had many customers (bus tours) one day. But the staff managed it very well. And still a big choice to choose from.Happy to come again.
