Hotels is a clean modern hotel .
Receptionist staff are helpful & friendly .
Housemaids do a great job keeping rooms clean .
Rooms are large . Light & airy .
Steam & saunas / gym is good ( only slight problem. No cold drinking water in steam/ sauna area .
Whilst there the restaurant in upper hotel was closed for couple of days .
Try the red bar for a evening meal .
The fish & chips was disgusting. 3 small pieces of fish covered in batter .
Could not eat it .
But wife’s sandwich was good .
Breakfast was a total shambles on 4 out of the 5 days .
Poor staff was run off there feet .
Due to excess coach parties .
To try & find a empty clean table was impossible.
When eventually did find a table .
U at to Q for fresh cook food .
Or have half a breakfast.
On the Sunday.
We walked in to restaurant & walk straight out & got a taxi in to town to eat .
The hotel was over run with coach party tourist staying there .
Tuesday was the only day out of 5 days .
Where we could actually enjoy the breakfast.
Add to it .
The restaurant in upper hotel closed couple of days .
Only a India restaurant local to eat at .
First & last time staying in a large hotel like this .
If I had know . So many coach parties would have been in hotels.
Would have book elsewhere.
Other than that .
A large clean Morden hotel .
About 20 to 25 minutes walk in to town .

Europe business/holiday trip

We stayed in four hotels during our trip to Europe and sad to say, but this hotel was the worst. Pricing was the second lowest of the four hotels, but was the lowest value for money.
You get the feeling that the hotel is old, especially the room. Our room had two separate single beds, and could not move the beds together because there is a table between the beds. The shower is in the bath and it is difficult to get in and out. The basin had a bad odour. The airconditioner is not working efficiently. Staff is very unfriendly. The breakfast was good, but on one of the mornings my wife asked for a fried egg at 9h40 (breakfast is served until 10h00) and the staff member, Christina, said she can't make it because breakfast is almost over. When my wife pointed out that is was only 9h40 she agreed to make the egg, but the whole time while preparing the egg, she was busy on her cellphone. The room door was stuck and my wife asked staff members cleaning rooms on the floor to help her, and they just ignored her request.
The conference facilities is nice.
The reception area is nice.
The sister hotel with a scenic cable ride to the top appears to be newer and better.
Prague is still a very beautiful city and definitely a nice tourist destination.

Would stay here again

Nice room, very quiet, great buffet breakfast included with room.

Getting to the hotel is not ideal. You walk through a bus parking lot and under a highway. It seemed safe enough but it made me nervous.

This hotel has a sister hotel up
The hill which you can get to on a short funicular ride. The upper hotel has an outside terrace with a distant view back to Prague. A nice place to veg and have a drink after a day of exploring.

Nice Place

Nice business hotel in Prague. It has parking and good breakfast at a moderate price. Clean and comfortable. A litller bit far from the center but if you like to walk you can walk to the cente. Good place.

Very good hotel to enjoy Prague

There are many fashion hotels in Prague, and many other more stylish ones, but this NH is definitely a good choice, especially in case of a business stay.
It has everything it takes for an efficient and enjoyable stay, with new and nice furniture, lots of power plugs in the rooms, full services, good speed WiFi access (with the only drawback of different WiFi names in the different areas of the hotel, forcing to search every time moving from the room to the other areas). Breakfast offers a large choice in a large and very enjoyable area.
The hotel is not in the old town, but every area of the town, including the most tourists attracting ones, can easily be reached, even with simple and enjoyable walking.
