How to Get There
We stayed for a long weekend. Hotel off the beaten track but walkable to all the main sites.
Beautiful Art Nouveau style. Stunning spa, (although I didn't use it). Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.
Stayed here in December 2018 with my son and his girlfriend. We were really pleased. Main sights were easily walkable about 20 minutes away from the Hotel.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Room was both comfortable and clean.
Prague is lovely. We had 3.5 days there which felt about right. With the exception of beer, prices were generally in line with UK.
We enjoyed a fabulous short break at this beautiful old hotel. High ceilings, wrought ironwork in the Art Nouveau style and lovely floors set this hotel apart from its modern, dreary counterparts.
The breakfasts are very good and the bar/lounge areas are comfortable, although the lighting in the library could be improved - it was either moodily dark or dazzlingly bright!
The rooms are very comfortable with great baths and lovely crisp bedding.
The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk into the city centre or 10 mins to the nearest metro.
My only criticism would be if the tendency of the young waiting staff who, when bored, tend to stand around texting rather than remaining sharp-eyed and attentive. I had hoped better of a 5* establishment. Bah humbug!
Definitely worth a visit though.
A lovely hotel, room and staff, all of whom were friendly and spoke excellent English. We made use of the sauna and whirlpool facilities during our stay - very clean and towels/robes/slippers provided. The hotel was approx a 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square although there were plenty of bars/restaurants in the vicinity.
If we ever visit Prague again we will return to Les Palais.
What a beautiful old hotel, lots of character, history and charm
Immaculately clean and presented and food very good
Staff friendly and very polite
Will stay here again
Just 20 minutes walk to St Wenceslas Square and all the main tourist places.
Found bars and places to eat nearby
