An amazing find in Prague

Although we’ve only been here 1 day, we’re incredibly impressed with this boutique hotel from the exceptional reception to the beautiful room to the extremely helpful staff. We look forward to our next 2 nights here and will definitely stay again when we revisit Prague

Incredible! Other Hotel Operators could learn a thing or two

I'm half way through my stay here and have seen more than enough to write a review.
I've stayed at A LOT of Hotels , from 5 star chains, to B&B's , to everything in between so it takes a bit to impress me.
Even before checking in I was impressed by this Hotel. Prompt and friendly responses by email - as I had a few queries and concerns (as they were renovating at the time).

We experienced a high level of service from the moment we arrived at the door. Greeted by concierge who were extremely friendly and welcoming, took our bags straight away and up to our room!

The property has been recently renovated, so it looks and smells incredible (everyone loves new property smell!)
We were greeted and checked in by Inga who has been absolutely incredible (we've had interactions throughout our stay), friendly and thorough with everything. She gave us a quick tour and showed us to our room, answered all of our questions - fantastic work and service.

The rooms are extremely well thought out in terms of design. My biggest issue with MOST hotels is - the lack of power and usb outlets (or in poorly placed positions), tiny towels, poorly designed bathrooms and storage space ... well I'm glad to report the Maximilian Hotel has taken the time to think of EVERYTHING.

The bathroom is perfect with a huge vanity , a rain shower head that actually works and has good pressure, a couch that is clean and comfortable and a bed that is one of the best I've ever slept in. The pillows are incredibly soft and not for me, but I asked for additional pillows and it was fine.

The 'free' mini bar is a great little perk - soft drinks, bottled water are included (whilst it's minor to some people , to me it is a huge benefit especially when you're tired and can't be bothered walking to the minimart).

It's the attention to detail that has blown me away. An example - the handles of the cupboards, the switches on the lights, and responsive (and perfect) air condition/heating system. The organic and high quality shampoo/soap/conditioner is awesome , in big pump packs- stuff you'd use at home.. a great way to not use plastic.

The breakfast is definitely quality over quantity. Forget your typical buffet breakfast where the food is sitting there for hours and tastes terrible... here it's organic food, a couple of different pastries that will probably be the best you'll ever have. A cheese and ham platter is offered and brought to your table (great way of managing waste) - not letting customers load up and throwing half of the food out.
The service by the staff at breakfast is one to be mentioned, all are smiling, friendly and come across genuine.

In 700+ reviews, there are probably 1 or 2 hotels that have blown me away, but that was due to holding high status with them (meaning I've technically paid for it!). The Maximilian is now another one of these hotels but without needing to have countless stays to be treated like a VIP.

Here you receive.... unbelievable value, in a fantastic spot (a 2 minute walk to the old town ) , a location where the restaurants are tended to by locals and great quality.
Seriously, DO NOT LOOK ELSEWHERE - you'll be wasting your time and money.

Great experience

Our room had been remodeled lately. It was clean, comfortable bed. Big fluffy towels. The best thing was the fantastic service we received. Even though the remodel is not done, you hardly noticed. I thought the cost was fair but the service was simply the best. And we did walk to all the best sites from there.
