How to Get There
This hotel provides one of the best spa facilities in Bansko. To top off your experience don't miss booking a massage right after. Specifically, a big thank you goes to the massage therapist Aphrodite. She is incredibly knowledgable about the body and has techniques that bring immediate relief. Very professional and produces great outcomes - highly recommend.
Arrived for a weeks skiing 02 Feb 2019. Check in was straight forward and we were shown the lift to our room. We opened the door & the heat was horrendous & we quickly opened the balcony door only to find the skirting board had been fixed right up to the door and it came off when the door was opened. We then went to close the curtains which came off the rails, the laminate flooring was cheap and nasty and was lifting due to water damage from the balcony door and the bathroom. The whole room was tired and dated with a tv on the wall not much bigger than a laptop. The hanging rail was no longer than a foot wide and no drawers so we lived out of suitcases for a week. The bathroom was equally sad in desperate need of a refit and update. All in all the room was no better than a hostel. The curtains came down every day and the floor was not swept or cleaned the whole time we were there. Looking around the hotel, it doesn't know what it wants to be. Oddments of furniture, nothing matching & stuff that seemed to be shoved anywhere. Breakfast was no better than cheap canteen food, very little selection with no imagination. This is certainly not a 5 star hotel and is only a 3 star at the very best. There is nothing Premier, Luxury or Resort about this hotel & I will not return or recommend.
On first impression the room was amazing, great view of the mountain very spacious. My fiancé had issues with the shower it somehow kept spinning out of control soaking the bathroom, we think from being too powerful which we wouldn’t usually moan about.
Spa was nice not enough sun loungers, jacuzzi was really good though and I had a massage very strong and good pressure.
VIP ski pass well worth it as there were 45 minute waits for the gondola which we walked straight past.
Only downfall was the dinner, some nights not much option, quite samey each night.
For my fiancé who was Coeliac they prepared a whole gluten free pasta dish each night which we were very impressed with.
Breakfast on the other hand was very nice, freshly cooked omelettes and pancakes!
Overall we would recommend to stay here maybe just bed and breakfast as there are a couple of nice restaurants nearby.
Just got back from a week's Snowboarding for our Honeymoon. The hotel was fantastic and the staff brilliant. Food was excellent in both the a-la-carte and buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed the fact we got VIP tickets for the Gondola which made a massive difference to our holiday!
A special thanks has to be said to the spa also who were really polite and helpful the whole week.
We will definitely be back.
After a long day skiing I decided to visit the spa to use the sauna and swimming pool. Upon arrival one of the team asked if I would like to have a full body massage. After seeing the price list, the prices seemed reasonable so I accepted.
The masseuse - Anna - delivered a professional and thoroughly enjoyable massage. I felt comfortable throughout and the pressure was great. At the end I felt truly relaxed. Thanks again to the team for such a good service - would definitely recommend.
