Nice rooms and service
Reviewed 1 week ago

We splurged and booked a beach front room which had a nice view. We also liked the private outdoor shower off of the bathroom, a fun departure from the usual. The staff was very accomodating.

We had dinner the first night, but both local dishes were much to sweet for my taste. The waiter explained that this is typical central Vietnamese style. The dining room was virtually empty while we were there. We tried a different place the next evening.

We also tried the spa while we were there, and the therapist I had was very good.

Nice place to stay with your family

We took train from HCMC to Phan Thiet. It was quite early to ask for check-in, but they are nice to allow and upgrade us with a big room which was more than we expected. Bed, bathroom and amenities are good. I love this bed, it is really softly and comfy. The best thing was when the night come out, housekeepers helped us to prepare mosquito-net and bed for us. I was happy about it.

Idyllic hotel

This hotel is at the end of the strip of resorts which means that you have a private beach to yourself with few tourists and its very quiet (pro) but you need to get a 5 minute taxi (3 dollars) to get to the middle of the strip for restaurants (con). Definitely book a beach front bungalow, I don't think we would have been as satisfied with this hotel had we not booked a beachfront bungalow. They offer great cheap packages: private dinner on the beach where they set up a table on the sand (so romantic), the massage and sand dunes package is so worth it! The spa is so idyllic!

A MUST for your bucket list!!!

We definitely left the best till last for our retirement holiday. Our beach villa was superb.(villa 18) Peaceful surroundings and fantastic views of the south China sea. Temperature was around 30/33 degrees. The high waves were great to watch but no swimming. Fabulous swimming pools including infinity pool. We played pool, table tennis and petang: but of course had lots of lazy times sun bathing and reading!! Beach Staff were great.. waiting on us with drinks and snacks. All staff were extremely friendly, ready to assist with all our needs. Service was second to none!!
It was my birthday during our stay. Staff were fabulous: putting flowers and ballons on our dining table: and 'Pink' (waitress) sang Happy Birthday to me! So sweet.
The food was delicious, particularly the fish that the head chef cooked for us!
A particularly nice touch was a sample cookie/sweet at 'turn down', together with a keep sake scroll of a local folk lore tale.
Staff were happy to arrange taxi's to take us to markets that are usually only attended by local people. This was fascinating. Vietnamese people are so lovely and welcoming. We took a trip to see the fishermen bring in their catch and was able to take a trip out to sea with one fisherman in his coracle boat: fantastic!!
Visits to the temples are a must, the hotel provided us with a very pleasant translater/tour guide!
All in all this hotel is one of the best we have been in and did not want to leave.
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful time!!

Beautiful

A beautiful, quiet hotel. We're not golfers and never have played anything other than crazy golf, but this hotel and its ground were fantastic. We got upgraded on arrival and were greeted with a beautiful drink and fruit. The room was clean and we looked out onto the sea. We ate a few meals here, there is nota huge amount to do directly around the hotel, but, there is a few restaurants and cafes of which we did samples a few, one of which was my favourite where al the locals seemed to go and sat on plastic chairs and tables but this was just perfect! The hotel grounds, swimming pool and reception area and bar / restaurant were also very clean and relaxing. The hotel sits directly on the beach, it's a lovely location. Just a short drive away is a small town where there are quite a few hotels and cafes and restaurants. We did venture out that way of an evening to try somewhere different to eat and each place was lovely, but make sure you start to head back if getting a taxi by 930 - 1000 as we struggled one evening, after going out for a meal with another couple and then going to a bar we sat until nearly 1130 and found taxis had all gone home! We thought that we were going to have to find a hotel for the night, luckily the owners of the bar did everything that they could to help us and it turned out that they had got friend of theirs to take us back to our hotel in the next town! We took a couple of trips out and met some fantastic people.
