wonderful time!
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I went with three friends to Naia and we had a great time. Mind you one friend capsized in her kayak and lost her water bag that had her phone and money--but we had a great time anyway. The staff was wonderful (shout out to Emmanuel at the front desk and Manuel at the water sports cabin) and the rooms were lovely. We enjoyed the food too--the shakes were especially delicious. We were only there for two days but we will be back!

Spectacular Experience

The Naia Resort was an excellent experience, including the location, property, service, spa, and thoughtful amenities. First, the location is quiet, but still easily accessible from Placencia Village. The beachside cottage provides the feeling of a private beach with your own porch, and beachside chairs and hammock. I was looking for a quiet retreat and I found that solitude and peace at this beautiful beach and resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained and well-preserved, and you can kayak or paddle board to explore from the ocean, or bike around the lagoons on the opposite side. The cottage is peaceful and well-appointed with all of the expected amenities, including a gorgeous private outdoor shower. Waking up to the view of sunrise over the sea and palms each morning is simply spectacular.

What makes Naia particularly special is the staff and attentive service throughout the entire stay. I cannot say enough about the friendly and warm attention each morning (and many afternoons and evenings) on site. Arlene was simply one of the kindest souls I have met on my journeys, and Michelle, Ceasar, Obie and Garrett also made sure that I was taken care of each morning and during poolside days. I have traveled the world, and their genuine hospitality is why I will return to Naia. Also, the ceviche at the beach bar should be ordered daily!

The spa is also well worth the visit, even if you are not staying at the resort. They have individual treatment buildings/ rooms overlooking the lagoon, which provides extra privacy and tranquility. My massage and facial with Elysia was one of the best spa treatments I have received, and their services are worth the price.

Overall, I left the resort (and Placencia) feeling restored. Naia goes out of its way to ensure that you are well cared for, and are readily available to assist in any way.

Simply Amazing Resort
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My husband and 3 sons (22, 20 and 18) just retuned from staying for one week at the Naia Resort and Spa. If you are like me and want a view of the ocean, this is the place. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean front villa with a private pool....You open the french doors to your private pool and several more feet, you are in the ocean. This is what I call paradise...
The villa was immaculate with all that you need for a family to comfortably relax and hang out together. Two huge bathrooms, two large bedroom, washer and dryer, and full kitchen. They even supply coffee beans and a grinder for fresh coffee.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. Whatever your desire for excursions, they make it happen...from scuba diving to cave treking, they set us up with wonderful guides, transportation, snacks and drinks.
The waitstaff in the restaurants were amazing as were the wonderful meals.
The entire staff of the hotel goes above and beyond to make their guests happy. They seem to think of how to make you happy so you do not even have to ask!
I hope to return again for another magical holiday!

Naia Resort and Spa

Excellent experience while staying at this property. Special place where you feel well cared for. Lovely property. Beachfront studio exactly as described on website. Front desk manager Manny was welcoming and attentive. Staff at 1981 restaurant there were super professional and accommodating. Spa on the lagoon is very peaceful, receptionist was friendly, therapists were very professional. We were truly able to rest and restore during our visit. Highly recommend and already hoping to return to Naia.

Wonderful resort

We got a little cottage for our family of three and LOVED it there. We had a dip pool on the porch of the house and I'm SO glad we did. We spent so much time in it with our ten month old. They also supplied a pack n play for him which worked very well. The staff would even pick him up and walk him around during our meals so we could enjoy it kid-free! The waterfalls nearby were a short drive and very entertaining. We went into town just twice for meals and excursions, but the resort really does have a lot to offer...especially the spa! They greeted us with drinks at check in which was really nice. Maya Bistro, Rumfish, and Tooty Fruity are great spots to dine in town.
