For Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings, spectacular museums, incredible markets, more than 400 types of craft beer and some of the best waffles and fries on the planet, it doesn’t get much better than Belgium’s capital of Brussels. Factor in 2,130 chocolate shops producing around 172,000 tons of chocolate every year, and it’s easy to see why this vibrant city holds such appeal.
Set just minutes from the historic Grand Place, known for its ornate guildhalls, the Hotel NH Collection Brussels Centre gets the home-away-from-home vibe just right. You’ll find inviting guest rooms with elegant décor, private bathrooms with luxury bath amenities, flat-screen TVs with satellite and cable channels and enough creature comforts to satisfy even the most discerning travelers. After refueling on tasty buffet breakfasts, you can spend your time soaking up surrealist art at the Magritte Museum, visiting the European Parliament at Espace Léopold and splurging on big-name fashion labels along Avenue Louise.
Contemporary décor, neutral color palettes and tasteful design flourishes characterize the spacious Superior rooms. You’ll enjoy 320-330 square feet of space, a queen-sized bed, a luxurious bathroom and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels.

How to Get There
The hotel is in a good, central location and easy to find as it's on a main road. The hotel is well presented, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection and offers nice views across the city. Based on these aspects I would have rated the hotel higher, however there were a couple of areas where improvements could be made:
The hotel offers tea / coffee for free on the mezzanine level, however there was never any tea or milk. I asked at reception and they told me to go to the 9th floor, so i ended up going up there to request some tea, then returning to find a kettle but no access to any water to fill it. I popped back to reception who filled it for me, but the next day there was exactly the same issue and no supplies had been replenished, nor was there any offer from staff members to rectify this and I was left to sort this myself. Whilst rushing from floor to floor just to get a tea, I must extend a thank you to the kind man from the gym who kept on eye on my laptop and belongings.
Another issue I had was that the cleaner (I presume) had been using my phone charger as I returned to the room and it was plugged in beside the bed using the USB port which I knew I hadn't used as I had failed to locate one! I tried to mention this at reception but the lady did not appear interested to hear about feedback.
Finally, I contacted the hotel afterwards to ask a question about an upcoming booking I wanted to make, but despite contacting them twice I never received a response which is disappointing.
The hotel is very well kept and contemporary looking. We were visiting for business and we were happy with the facilities. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I would have expected a few more details for the price we paid (complimentary slippers etc).
We used the gym and the lounge area on the mezzanine floor which had free coffee and drinks available for customers.
What we didn’t like:
-The hotel has no bar! Very strange for this hotel category
- The staff were nice and helpful except for on member which was rude to us upon checking in and the following day.
If the management is reading this, please have a word with your on duty staff on November 6th
Overall a good experience and we would definitely go back again
Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel over the weekend for La Demence in Brussels. We had a nice room, unfortunately without a view, however the room was comfortable, a nice sized double bed, and a good sized bathroom, and a mini bar. The hotel is in a ideal position for exploring Brussels. We had breakfast which was a good selection of continental style meats and cereals, along with fruit and eggs of your liking. It was also reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Compared to other nearby hotels I found the cost about average with the others in the area. I usually go to Brussels yearly and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes a nice centrally locates stay.
