Overview

An ultra-chic stay at a four-star hotel in the heart of the city, just a short stroll from the Grand Place

The Lowdown

For Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings, spectacular museums, incredible markets, more than 400 types of craft beer and some of the best waffles and fries on the planet, it doesn’t get much better than Belgium’s capital of Brussels. Factor in 2,130 chocolate shops producing around 172,000 tons of chocolate every year, and it’s easy to see why this vibrant city holds such appeal.
Set just minutes from the historic Grand Place, known for its ornate guildhalls, the Hotel NH Collection Brussels Centre gets the home-away-from-home vibe just right. You’ll find inviting guest rooms with elegant décor, private bathrooms with luxury bath amenities, flat-screen TVs with satellite and cable channels and enough creature comforts to satisfy even the most discerning travelers. After refueling on tasty buffet breakfasts, you can spend your time soaking up surrealist art at the Magritte Museum, visiting the European Parliament at Espace Léopold and splurging on big-name fashion labels along Avenue Louise.

Rooms

Contemporary décor, neutral color palettes and tasteful design flourishes characterize the spacious Superior rooms. You’ll enjoy 320-330 square feet of space, a queen-sized bed, a luxurious bathroom and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels.
Amenities- Air conditioning- Wi-Fi- Luxury bath amenities- Hair dryer- Minibar- Tea and coffee facilities- Safe- Desk- Pillow menu

Dining

Start your day at the breakfast buffet for international staples and regional delicacies, including fresh fruit juices, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, breads and more. Cooked-to-order hot dishes are also available.

Location

The hotel’s location, right in the heart of the city center, is hard to beat. From here, you’ll be able to walk to most of the city’s must-sees. We recommend taking in the breathtaking collection of artworks by Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte at the Magritte Museum, strolling across the cobbles of the UNESCO-listed Grand Place and splurging on big-name fashion labels along Avenue Louise. You can also rummage for vintage bargains at the Jeu de Balle Flea Market, visit the Belgian Comic Strip Center for its Tintin exhibits and gaze at the curious Manneken Pis – the city’s iconic bronze fountain statue known as the “Peeing Boy.”

One Night Stay

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as we bounced around Europe to some of the larger Christmas markets. We arrived early and were allowed to check in before the stated time, always a plus with me. Staff was friendly and helpful with respect to getting us settled and making recommendations on where markets were located. We had a rental car which we parked in a public garage just a very short walk from the hotel (hotel has no parking) and there were no issues. Hotel was within easy walking distance of all major center city sites. The breakfast was high quality as with all NH locations. I highly recommend.

If you want a good nights sleep book elsewhere

I'd emailed prior to our arrival to let them know this was a celebratory trip. On arrival after the long day travelling we couldn't get the taxi to the door due the the works for the new Metro station outside. This will be great for the hotel but I'm sure the noise will increase.
We asked of the works would be noisy in our front of the hotel rooms & if they were could we move. We were assured that we had a high floor & it would be fine. HOW WRONG THEY WERE!!!!!!!! 7am (6am UK time) the next morning all hell broke loose. Drilling, reversing beepers, diggers dragging buckets over concrete, shouting. It all started. That after a really really hot night as they turn the aircon off in the winter & even with the heating turned off they pump warm air in. We'd shut the window at about 3am after the local revellers kicked out & started shouting. Thank god at the working noise was already deafening without the windows being open. The celebration cakes that were a lovely touch didn't make up for such a poor nights sleep.
We complained & were offered new rooms to move to. Why not do that the night before when we asked? The lovely lady on reception apologised profusely & said they couldn't believe the noise when they arrived at 7am that morning so it must have been bad.
We went out for the day & were given our new room keys when we got back. More cakes, again lovely, & a voucher for free drinks in the bar that night. We met our friends in the bar only to be told it was closed! We were directed to the buffet restaurant for the temporary bar only to find a large private party & no bar. The choice was red wine, white wine or Stella. Not fancying any of those we left & the private party were busy taking selfies that we seemed to inconvenience by being in the background of.
Add to that another very hot night, though this time we could leave the windows open all night.

Such a shame as the hotel is very nice. The reception staff are all very friendly & the concierge is just lovely. The choice at breakfast & quality of food is great. Sadly our trip was tainted by our lack of sleep & the very poor attempt to compensate us for the disruption. I would not recommend at all unfortunately.

Good location but no deposit refund yet

I was stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in August and made the hotel payment before check-in (full settlement). I was requested to make an additional payment, deposit, which should be refund to me in one to two weeks time after check-out however as of today I still haven’t receive the refund (equivalent to AED505.19).
I’ve been communicating with the hotel on this through emails but no result ....it has been taking for more than 3 months for the refund and I hope the hotel will take immediate action.....

Brussels beauty

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and found the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately whilst we were there, there were roadworks out the front which made getting to the entrance of the hotel tricky (in the rain). The foyer is spacious and beautifully decorated. Our room was a good size, with an adequate bathroom, hot water was instant and a bonus of the Nespresso coffee machine a plus. The only negative was that whilst sleeping, the noise from the street was very annoying - from people yelling late at night and garbage collectors - perhaps double glazing cold be considered.
Breakfast is at the top floor with lovely views across the city. The buffet was extensive and eggs would be cooked to your specification.
Location of this hotel is right in the middle of the city, close to all shopping, and places of interest all within walking distance.

A beautiful hotel right in the center of town. We had a great corner suite. Anything we asked for at the front desk they were very helpful with. The afternoon door guy was very charming and spoke so meany different languages, it was always fun to see him. A great 3 night stay.
