Set next to the iconic Grand Place, the NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg is the perfect, stress-free spot for a Brussels city break. In contrast to its ornate neighbours, simplicity is key here with bright, clean spaces, exceptional service and one of the best locations in town.
Step outside and you’re just five minutes from the central Grand Place, with its guildhalls, museums and beautiful town hall. The NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg is perfectly placed for exploring Brussels, close to lots of shopping areas and restaurants and within easy striking distance of the city’s best-known museums, its gothic cathedral and the unmissable botanical gardens. And what’s more, the Eurostar train is just a 30-minute walk away. Parfait.
Expect classic and cosy rooms, comfortable and modern, with smart, neutral décor either one double or twin beds.
The hotel’s bar and ‘open bar’ 24-hour hot food vendor means you’ll never miss a meal. And guests rave about the big buffet breakfasts, with plenty of pastries, cold cuts and cereals, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
The NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg is just a five-minute walk from the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels and its best-known sight. The city’s museums, shopping areas and cathedral are all within easy walking distance and the Eurostar, which comes into the Gare du Midi, is about a 30-minute walk away.
How to Get There
Having spent three nights at this hotel, I can certainly recommend this hotel in a central city location. The bed is very comfortable and the room was well equipped, both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The room was located to the rear of the hotel which is great as there is no discernible city noise. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We made use of the parking and unfortunately it is first come first serve, so you may be at risk of not being able to park. E.g. if you are lucky to find a space on day 1 at a specific time it is not guaranteed that it will be available the next day. The parking is also very tight, especially if you have a large car. It may be more convenient to use a public parking garage in the area, especially if you are staying a few days and plan to make use of your car during that period. The highlight of each day was the breakfast; very well executed and with great variety on offer. I will certainly return to this hotel again should the opportunity arise.
We have just returned from a four night stay in the Grand Place. It was an excellent stay. Firstly the location. It is in the best location, very central and obviously a five minute walk to the Grand Place. Excellent restaurants are nearby. It is also a five minute walk from the Central Station and the Metro. The greeting from Nicoletta when we arrived was superb. She was warm, welcoming, genuinely helpful and gave us excellent chocolate shop and restaurant recommendations, as well as going through the map with us. Our room was superb, a really big corner room at the back of the hotel. It was quiet at night and we slept extremely well in the very comfortable good quality beds. The linens were of excellent quality. The room was very clean, the bathroom and loo sparkling. Now for the breakfasts! They were fantastic. Every possible thing you could want. Even Chia seeds which was a first for me in any hotel. The bread was fabulous, the pastries, everything superb. We thought it a great hotel. Highly recommended.
We arrived at the hotel at 9am but check in wasn’t until 3pm so we left our bags at reception and visited the centre, which was only a short walk from the hotel. Our room was clean comfortable and spacious and nicer than expected. Overall very pleasant stay and great location if you’re staying in Brussels.
The hotel is in an excellent location, within a 5 minute walk to Brussels Grand Place, but far enough to be away from the tourists, noise and cheap stores.
The rooms are confortable, however the Air Conditioned has a very poor performance, it was not a big issue as the days were not too hot. If you are located in the lower levels, the hot water may take 5-10 mintes to get into the shower.
The staff was very friendly, I noticed that they speak Spanish, Italian, English, German and obviously French.
well, This hotel is a disappointment to me, i stayed with my family for 2 nights in a double and tripple room, the double room was fine , but the tripple room had a major problem with the AC, we called the reception and they tried to fix it but no use, we tried to change the room cause but they told us that the hotel is fully booked, they said that they will send the electrition to fix it,but they didn't send any !!!! so this meant that we had to spent the night in a very hot weather, which caused a big anointment to my family, well , this isn't a professional way to handle such an issue !!!
other than this all was ok.
