A perfect hotel
Reviewed 1 week ago

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel des galleries and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Brussels. The location is perfect - a hidden gem in the arcade. The whole hotel is beautifully designed and the beds extremely comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I’d highly recommend the breakfast too and would love to return in the summer to be able to sit outside in their patio. Thanks for the stay - I will definitely return!

A beautiful cosy break at the heart of Brussels

A picturesque place, in the heart of Brussels, with some of the most friendly and nice intended personnel. It has a very distinctive voice in terms of decoration. The location is excellent if you want to stay in Brussels either for travel or business.
The place has a serenity and so much character.

Nice

Had a spectacular view over the galeries. Real nice, and the breakfast was nice too and staff friendly... the bed was nice but the room.... a bit boring... and this thing with going to the loo and then have to go out in the hallway, round the corner and into the bathroom to wash your hands? Just wonder how often the huge tub in there gets used...

One of the best experience

The room was very clean!! The bathroom also! The bed was really nice and the sheets were super soft. I loved the decoration of the whole hotel! The room was just lovely!!! We had an amazing time in the hotel and the location was also the best, near the train station and city center, supermarkets, restaurants, everything!
Very good breakfast!

Very noisy, not a peaceful stay
Reviewed 3 months ago

The hotel room was very nicely furnished and the bathroom was lovely and big, it's just a shame the shower cubicle flooded the room every time we used it.
The room and hotel had exposed floorboards so it was very noisy every time people walked down the hall and we could hear noise from other rooms.
Maybe we were just unlucky that there were roadworks directly outside the hotel when we visited, but being woken up by ear piercing drilling at 7am awful! When we first arrived at the hotel we thought we had taken the wrong turning as the roadworks were blocking the path and diverting away from the hotel. When we got inside the reception desk was unmanned and there was no bell or way to call staff. When someone did arrive there was no apology and no mention of the roadworks.
All in all not a relaxing or peaceful stay!
On another note, we were offered the hotel breakfast for €19 each which we didn't have, but I'm glad we didn't because the hotel is so ideally located right in the city centre there are countless amounts of cafes and bakeries (and a Starbucks for those who like to stick to what they know) and even a few supermarkets with fresh coffee and bakery products. It would be a shame not to try some of the local cafes, especially when they cost a quarter of the price.
