Overview

Mod boutique with an intimate city spa and hip terrace bar with stellar city views

The Lowdown

Like a little black dress, this sexy 60-room Brussels boutique hotel turns heads. Spacious monochrome bedrooms are decked out in black patent-leather furniture, smoky gray praline tables and black suede headboards. The bathroom is set behind smoked glass sliding doors and stocked with Etro toiletries. Public spaces maintain that monochrome mania, broken by the silver disc curtains that separate the lobby from the bar. Color comes into play in the green breakfast room and white Be Lella restaurant, but it’s back to black in the hotel’s hotspot bar, the guests-only roof-terrace Black Lounge from which the city views are stellar.

In the Area

Whether you spend your day exploring the stunning Royal Palace, shopping in the Royal St. Hubert Galleries, or snapping selfies with the Manneken Pis, when you return to the hotel you can find relaxation in its intimate spa with a sauna, steam room and single treatment room. On-site eatery Be Lella serves up hearty French-Belgian fare like sea bass saltimbocca with spinach, candied fennel and a white wine sauce.

What a fabulous stay

Having read the reviews of this lovely hotel there isn't much more to add to recommend it wholeheartedly for a decent priced break in Brussels.
We had a VIP upgrade and am sure we had the best room in the hotel...the beautiful Christmas tree right outside our window.
The beds are dreamy, the bathroom fantastic and the breakfast was superb...so much choice and great quality.
Without exception every staff member had a warm, ready smile and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely break.

Friendly Staff, Solid Location, GREAT breakfast

We were VERY tired after a long trip and got an upgrade and more importantly, an early check in-thank you sincerely. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and great location to train station (MIDI). Highly recommended. Beautiful rooms and décor! Keep up the great work and thanks for helping with a great holiday.

Excellent overall service

The location is good, within 15 min walk from the Grand Place. The double room was very wide, with all right and functional and fashionable details, and a great bed. Staff is friendly. The breakfast quality is above average. A bit costly, though, we invited our son as guest and were charged 30 euros, but am afraid this is in line with local standards. One afternoon the room service arrived at 4:30 pm, too late, we were resting in the room and we skipped it. This could cost a star, but I keep all 5 hoping it was just an accident.

Lovely and eclectic

Visited this hotel this month for 3 days.
Lovely staff, willing to accommodate an earlier than expected check-in/later check out times.

The hotel is quite close (5minute walk) to Brussels Midi which is very handy if you plan to make a trip to Bruges/ any other cities. There are also other local train stations surrounding the hotel. The city centre is a short walk away too.

The room is spacious with an interesting interior which is a nice change. The walk in shower and sliding (sort of see through) bathroom doors are a nice addition, although maybe awkward if sharing with friends. The heating in the room is not very warm despite on maximum, but that is a small thing.

Unfortunately their in-house restaurant closed down a while back, but not all the rooms have this updated in their menus, but they do have a free room service menu which has a decent dinning menu which is handy. Breakfast was provided but was more focused on the continental side.

Overall a great hotel and would recommend a stay here

Nice hotel with lovely and big room. Extensive and well looked after breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking garage for car in the middle of Brussels is a plus (but rather expensive :-( ). Enjoyed very much our stay.
