How to Get There
Just in the heart of tourist area of Brussels, a few steps from Grand Place, close to the Brussels Central Train Station. Perfect view from the 7th floor where they serve breakfast. I stayed in a single room in the 4th floor. The room was small. But it was decent. I truly recommend it.
Highly recommend to travellers looking for a quiet place conveniently located close to tourist attractions in the old city center and plenty of restaurahrs and caffees. A good small hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and correctly managed.
the hotel is so close to Grand Place you can see the tower and the front of some of the buildings from the breakfast room. this makes it easy to always find your way back! Close to all the major tourist sites and in the middle of a clump of restaurants, some better than others (watch the price of drinks, some are not shy on charging!). Our room was a little tired, but very, very clean with extremely comfortable beds and a decent shower. A bonus for us was the breakfast, included in the price, which we hadn't expected. the breakfast selection was very good with pastries, bread (a toasting machine), meats and cheese, scrambled eggs (beautifully cooked), bacon and fruit. Fruit juice was delicious and I'm told the coffee very good. The view from the top floor breakfast room was amazing. The staff were friendly and arranged a taxi for us on Monday to go to the station. Booked as part of a Eurostar deal and we could not have got a better hotel or location if we'd spent forever trying to do it ourselves. Thank you
Booked this hotel to meet up with a friend who had to cancel, okay no problem there, room is little tired wallpaper or whatever they used on walls some of it was bit dirty, breakfast was okay but speaking to other people we met on our trip out breakfast was pretty rubbish. At one point weather was really warm 30 degrees and room temp was 26 at night, so we did sleep with window open but with it being over a weekend and middle of Brussels it is noisey so not much sleep. 3 days later I said at reception the Aircon isn't working to be told they don't swtich it on until 1st May! Safe in room wasn't working as it turns out they are redecorating the hotel so had been disabled or whatever, used the safe at reception and was given a key no problem. Went to get money out few days later different receptionist he went to get out thing from safe and couldn't believe they were not put in a sealed envelope with our room number on it, everything was okay but I did wonder when he put the things in for safe keeping . We must have been only ones using it!
To be honest I wouldn't use this hotel again
On plus side it is just off The Grand Place ideal location
I stayed at the Floris Arlequin Grand Place as it was within the allowance provided to me by work plus we were going to have a group of 30+ stay here a few weeks later.
Although it's not what I would describe as a 'full service hotel' it is ideal for tourists who want to explore everything that Brussels has to offer. It is located very close to the iconic Grand Place and a great view of this is provided from the top floor breakfast room.
A few weeks later when our large group stayed, there were no complaints and hotel staff coped admirably.
Recommended and I would return.
