How to Get There
Check in was really easy and staff were all so friendly throughout our stay.15 mins away from the dare du midi , 3 mins away walking to the center , a lot of restaurant are near by ,simple & delicious morning breakfast with a nice view from top at the restaurant ,good value for money
We had room 014. It was incredibly noisy each night being just above a bar playing very loud music till 4 in the morning. My wife went down to complain to the reception at 3.am one morning. The receptionist sympathised but said the noise was beyond the hotel's control.
To be fair after 3 nights we complained and we were given a different room which was quiet.
My remaining complaint is that the hotel staff were well aware how noisy this (and other rooms at the front) are and I think it is unacceptable that these rooms are sold without a warning.
The noise definitely affected our enjoyment of our holiday.
I would not stay here again.
If you are booking this hotel ask for a quiet room (at the back).
We had a great stay at Floris Arlequin Grand Place. We stayed for 2 nights in July (2019). Prior to our arrival my wife called to ask if we'd have a kettle in our room, we were told that only executive rooms have one. We were given the option to upgrade. Which we did. On arrival, the man at reception was very helpful, explained everything we needed to know and allowed us to store our bags as we had arrived early morning. Lifts are smaller then I'm used to, (4 people may be crowded) but there are two so never really held up waiting for one for long.Room was very nice. The nicest I've stayed in whilst doing short European breaks at this price point. In fact, I've paid more in other countries and I expected less in terms of how the room was. Our room was well decorated, clean, and nothing looked tired. Maybe we lucked out with a recently renovated room, but either way, for the price I was not expecting this. The hotel is a very short walk from Central station. It's conveniently located close to a majority of things you would want to do in the center there. Nothing is very far away in general. Breakfast was good. Same items each day but that was fine. You can make your own waffles as well! Decent view over the city whilst you eat. Room was well cleaned whilst we were out. Fresh towels provided as well. Staff were pleasant and helpful when we realized we'd brought the wrong plug adapter. Beds were very comfy as well. They provided one of their own for us to use. For the price and location it's a must.
