Absolutely wonderful

We stayed 2 nights in a Hillside villa with a private pool. We wished we could have stayed longer. The setting is wonderful, the staff excellent and the food to die for. We took the courtesy taxi (just us) to Ubud and called when we wanted to return. The Swept Away restaurant is exquisite, food wonderful. All the staff know you by name, nothing is too much for them and the manager personally thanked us for staying when we left. We will return.

The Staff are excellent, very efficient, courteous ,obliging and extremely friendly with constant smiles. And if you want a romantic setting look no further......wow. Lovely 3 day stay

We spend 3 days at the Samaya Ubud and then went on to spend 7 days at the Samaya Seminyak.
The Ubud is extremely quiet and tranquil, set in beautiful jungle/forest. I understand that there are 19 villas in total, we stayed in 101 which is up on the hill by the reception and breakfast restaurant. The villa itself is huge and beautiful inside. The pool area was also lovely with a large undercover bed to chill out on.
The best thing about the hotel has to be the staff. They could not do more for you and are extremely attentive. I’m severely allergic to nuts, the manager and staff were fantastic, ensuring that all of my food was cooked separately. I could not fault the team at the Samaya Ubud. We twice ate at Swept away. Once off of the A la carte menu. And then once at the Hundred Candle Dinner which was incredible! We stupidly didn’t ask the price before we booked, and don’t get me wrong it’s pricy! But for the experience well worth it and a must if you’re staying at the hotel! (c.£300 including a bottle of Malbec).
We also had a couples massage at the spa which again was wonderful.
All in all a lovely 3 night stay - would happily go back there!
