How to Get There
We stayed for three nights at the Furama Villas and Spa. It was a relaxing and beautiful stay and a great way to end our time in Bali.
The staff were outstanding during our stay. They helped with any queries and helped order taxis.
The food for lunch and the breakfast buffet is to a good standard and my friend really enjoyed her lunch.
The two seperate villas we had were lovely. They were secluded and had a private pool. The rooms have good air con and the beds were firm.
The main pool was one of my favourites, with loungers and a bar. When we were staying it was quiet so there was lots of room at the pool.
The hotel is around a 20min drive from the centre of Ubud, so that might be a factor if you aren't so much after privacy and want to do activities in Ubud. We got taxis from the city centre back to the Furama at night for around 170,000 - 150,000 rupiah. The Furama taxi is 150,000 rupiah. So it can add up in costs if you're wanting to do activities in the countryside.
There is strict security if you're bringing visitors in, so be aware of this if you intend on having non-guests on site.
My outdoor shower water was a bit cool and the blinds used for the villa were fairly see through with the lights on. That's the only improvement I could think of.
Rooms are gorgeous as well as a private pool and courtyard.
Very peaceful and quiet.
Free shuttle to Ubud so that was fine.
Had a massage which was great.
Breakfast was great.
I would definitely recommend this place.
We stayed for 3 nights as part of our Honeymoon trip, we loved our big room and private pool however the Hotel is a little out of the way and not in walking distance of much. The dinners we had were pretty good although quite pricey, the breakfast was really bad!! We enjoyed the spa but found it was nothing special compared to the other Hotels we stayed at in Indonesia.
