But should you need a extra hand on the R&R front, there’s Spa Furama, where you can spend a leisurely day pampering yourself, or Padi Restaurant, where you can take in panoramic views of paddy fields as you savor your dishes. Unwind further with a cocktail in hand at the Lagoon Pool Bar, or retire to your luxurious and spacious villa for a dip in your private plunge pool.

Slip into the larger spring water lagoon pool right next door for blissful swims.

Should you choose to escape the privacy of your villa, you can enjoy delicious cuisine in award-winning Padi Restaurant overlooking rice paddy fields, or make your way to the Bar & Bistro Suling for lighter snacks and a drink. Visited sept 2017 - great staff.

This isn’t your lavish, modern 5* - however, it’s unique, traditional and real Bali. A bit dated but it’s ok!
I would say a really good 4* plus.

On arrival staff were friendly. The manager sat us down and told us that our pool within the room was broken - however, due to this they placed us near by in a huge property with private pool. Breakfast in bed. And free spa treatments. They fixed the issue even before it could go any further which was great.

After one night they immediately brought us back to the original hotel and checked us in.

We watched the traditional show which was great - room was clean and pool was nice.

Only a few issues - shower is outside and the light is too dark! Which meant quick showers and a lot more unnecessary bugs. Maybe a shower inside the room rather than a bath?
Due to the way the doors are padlocked - two guests came into our room by accident thinking it was their room but no big deal they immediately left.
After one night in Ubud town around 1am we came back and the sheets were fresh but stained. We called reception and they were changed with no problem.

I would stay again and recommend this property.

This is an absolutely beautiful property, secluded and very private villas that were breathtaking.
This completely exceeded our expectations, with our one bedroom private pool villa we lapped up the 5 days and felt very rejuvenated.
The pool was the perfect size and there was a lovely sitting area outside with lush gardens.
Breakfast was okay with asian and western dishes at the buffet.
It's about 20 mins out of Ubud but there was a free shuttle that ran numerous times every day as there wasn't anything within walking distance of the property.
The bed was super comfy, the outdoor shower was new to us but we adjusted and just had an amazing experience.

Secluded relaxing getaway

Stayed here for 2 nights after visiting Sanur. It's in a very private location, well away from the bustle of Ubud. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful and we were taken to our villa by buggy. Once you are inside the walls of your villa, the rest of the world disappears, your own private pool, outside dining area, sun loungers, outside shower, inside a massive 4 poster bed and in the bathroom a bath so big no-one needs to fight over who gets the plug-hole end.

You will need to use the shuttle or get a taxi if you want to explore Ubud.

We ate in the restaurant on the first night, food was good, but not a massive choice, but enough to keep us happy for a few nights, 2nd night we had room service and just enjoyed the piece and quiet of a beautiful villa, the room service menu has a lot more items on it than the main restaurant.

Each night there is a turn-down service, when they also spray your room to kill of any mozzies.

One niggle, the door bell for each villa sounds the same and also sounds like it's coming from the same place when you are outside, for some reason the villa next door had people coming and going a lot and I ended up opening the door so many times because of the wrong doorbell - maybe a different sounding bell or each villa or some other way of attracting attention?

Should be 5* has the potential

The property is beautiful. We had a villa the size is unbelievable so big and spacious from the bedroom to the bathroom..sitting area ...private splash pool that then joins into the sharing pool with a little balcony with bean bags! The villa is beyond comfort.24 hour room service with amazing food.!Its all there but yet it seem they have left the place to rot...not taking care of things at all witch is a real shame the bathroom more then any not being cleaned properly the doors the walls. Maintenance definitely does not exist here. The staff are polite and helpful but overall if you dont care properly for your hotel and keep it to best standards and keep up with it....then how will your guest enjoy 5* treatment when the first thing you notice is how run down things are.Got to note the gardens were very well taken cared of. Housekeeping and maintenance could be and should be a lot better !

The Furama Villas & Spa Ubud make a cozy haven, where luxury plays a huge part. Each private villa is arranged in a combination of rustic Balinese style with the western more modern interior decor (especially evident in FuramaXclusive). Thatched roofs, ceilings with large exposed beams, hemp beds with canopies, cozy tropical gardens and own pool, offering an incredible sense of privacy and relaxing leisure in an atmosphere of harmony and peace.

Great place for couples, honeymooners, and people who would love to spend some time close to beautiful nature.
