How to Get There
We spent 6 nights in late April/early May
The hotel was wonderful .We had a villa which opened onto the Lagoon Pool.
The surrounding forest area and hotel gardens were stunning. The accomodation was spacious and well designed. Our room was spotlessly clean. The pool area and private decking was also spotless. Staff were always incredibly helpful and wanted to please nothing was a problem The staff were a real assett and knew each guest personally.Sheer 5 star joy.
Organised romantic dinner at poolside for birthday treat from UK. It was magical and they even gave a complimentary birthday cake .
The restaurant was excellent in all areas, service quality of food and reasonably priced.
Barbecue evening with traditional Balinese Dance was very entertaining and provided excellent value.
We chose this location because it was quiet and 20 minutes outside Ubud by taxi usually negotiated for about £3 sterling.
By hiring a guide/driver we were able to visit some wonderful and interesting locations. Approx £55 per day.
Don't trust the pictures on the internet, these villas are old and ran down! All surrounding land is over grown. The romantic dinner over looking rice fields, that they advertise is disgusting, old linen and curtain net, view is of Bush, not pretty at all. Villas have old furniture and toilet don't flush properly....you pay a lot of money to stay here,I hated the whole time I was booked here. Couldn't wait to leave!!
From the moment we arrived at these villas, we knew it would be a lovely place to stay. You are welcomed by friendly staff with a refreshing juice drink and a chilled towel. once the formality was complete we were taken to our villa by electric cart and shown how to get the most out of the facilities, we were given a king size bed with canopy and left alone to get some rest. In the morning at breakfast we were asked if everything was ok with the room and even though we were 2 friends sharing the room and would have liked a twin room, we were willing to remain in the very large bed, by the time breakfast was over, the staff had been in and changed the king size bed for two large singles.
The food at breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of choices for any pallet, always hot and replenished frequently and sat above the pool area with lovely views.
The evening meals we had by choice were fantastic highly recommend the tenderloin steak, yummy.
The villa itself was clean, comfortable and simply perfect, our own enclosed plunge pool had two doorways out to the very large outside pool with swim up bar and fountains so you had the choice to remain private or lounge on the decking to soak up the sun with a little cocktail.
The grounds are wonderfully cared for and a joy to meander around in.
The thing that really made us feel welcomed here was the the attention to detail and the amazing staff. Nothing was too much and always a genuine smile was offered. If you are thinking of staying here? don't hesitate, its the perfect location to stay as it is central to most places you may wish to visit with the added bonus of a curtesy car to take you into the town of Ubud.
We spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon which was absolute bliss! Could not believe that we had our own private villa with a pool. Ordered room service for dinner a few nights which was such a treat eating on the deck. All the staff are fantastic and so friendly! Upon check in we received a few vouchers which was a nice treat such as free afternoon tea, mocktail, crispy duck etc. Would happily go back to paradise!!
Just spent a week here. First time in Bali and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Staff are very friendly and are able to only be around when you want them. Very relaxing and private villas. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a romantic spa experience with meal in villa for our anniversary and well worth the money. Every room has a universal plug and plenty of drinking water supplied. The only thing they could supply is a set of drawers and maybe a small table outside by the loungers. These are only minor things
