We stayed here on honeymoon. The staff were unbelievably friendly. The food was out of this world. The location was amazing. The room included lots of nice products including mosquito repellent! Without a doubt best hotel yet!

Jungle Paradise

My husband and I stayed at this hotel earlier this month and I highly recommend it. The setting is stunning and so peaceful. The pool area of course is a highlight. The staff are all amazing and I cannot fault the service. We stayed in tree terrace villa and it was stunning. The room was huge and the outdoor bath and shower were a nice touch. Housekeeping came twice a day and it was lovely to go back to our room at night to all of our curtains drawn and a clean and tidy room.

We ate at the hotel on the first night and it was delicious. It was more expensive than some restaurants in Ubud but it was convenient and in a lovely setting. It was also one of the best meals we had in Ubud so it is worth a try. Breakfast was not disappointing either. There was plenty of choice and the staff were so attentive.

The spa was lovely and relaxing. Again, you can get cheaper treatments in Ubud (which we also did) but they were not as luxurious as in the hotel spa.

The only drawback to this hotel is also its biggest advantage; the distance to Ubud. It doesn't take long to get in to Ubud but the hotel does not allow internet taxis in to pick you up so your only option is to use the hotel car which is more expensive than the taxis in Ubud (which you can get back) and has a fixed price for Ubud. This may pay off if you are travelling to the far side of Ubud but if you are on the nearside it is not a good deal. However, the remoteness is part of the beauty of the hotel.

Is this the cheapest hotel in Ubud? No. Is it worth it? Every penny.

Peaceful Jungle Oasis

This is a lovely property in the midst of the jungle with very helpful staff. The pool was so amazing, especially overlooking the jungle -- it was heaven. The grounds are very quiet so it's a very calming place to stay. We loved sitting on our balcony and just relaxing. Although it is a tad pricey, I would recommend staying a few days at Alila.

My girlfriend and I visited Alila Ubud 19-30th April. The moment we arrived we were amazed by how beautiful the hotel was. Although it was dark, we could still see that it was as amazing as it looked on the pictures on the internet. We had an amazing time here, so amazing we will be back next year.
We cannot thank the staff enough for all their effort and hard work in making this holiday special and memorable for us. They went that extra mile not just for us, but for all the guests staying at the hotel.
