This is a lovely hotel that gets my excellent rating for how wonderfully the staff at the hotel treated me after I came down with a severe case of "Bali Belly" on my last day at the hotel. I had a late night flight so had planned full day at the hotel and had agreed to a late check out time, late afternoon massage and dinner in town. As I progressively got sicker, I realized that the best laid plans were not to be. When I went to check out offered me an unoccupied room that I could go lie down in for awhile. Not wanting to cancel my spa appointment, I went thinking a gentle massage might help. Half-way through I realized I was too sick to continue and needed medical help. The staff laid me down, brought a manager to help me and they took me to a health clinic The drive sat with me throughout my visit, even waiting while I was given IV fluids and electrolytes. The hotel than arranged for my pre-booked driver to pick up my luggage, meet me at the clinic and, feeling well enough to fly, to the airport. So, yes, the hotel had all the things you want from a resort: beautiful location, good food, great views, lovely rooms, beautiful design. But it had the most important thing of all: heart.
Unremarkable staff and service.
Simply a 10/10, they anticipate your needs and solved any issue at the moment. We stayed for 12 nights so I think I had a good overview of their consistency. Don’t hesitate on booking Alila in Seminyak.
I have visited bali 5 times and I honestly can say the Alila in Seminyak is the best place to stay!
This place feels spacious and modern..beautiful ocean view...the restaurant...the room and more importantly, the service was absolutely brilliant.
Bagus the Manager was fantastic and his staff you couldn't wish for more!!!!
Every staff member always smiling and asking are you ok, can i help you.
Don't bother staying anywhere else, this place is Heaven on the beachfront.🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹
We spent 9 days at The Alila and I couldn’t say enough great things about it. The rooms are huge, the grounds and pools spectacular but it’s the service that makes this hotel very special. Special mention to the fabulous Agus who looked after us so well every day.
Daily yoga is on offer as well as a wide variety of activities for kids, our daughter loved the basket making.
A few tips - be careful with rooms facing Potato head/mrs sippy particularly if you have small children/babies needing daytime sleeps as the music can we quite loud.
Also you can order food from the restaurant Seasalt when you are at the pool. The sushi and poke bowl dishes are amazing and much better (and cheaper!) option than the pool bar menu.
Thank you Alila, we can wait to return.
