Cultural living room home mansion

Business-meets-pleasure at this Balinese retreat geared towards group getaways

The Lowdown

The founders of this “boutique resort tailored to your own personal enrichment” say they created it as a “sanctuary to get vision and give vision” and offer life-changing experiences in a quiet haven of natural seclusion. Lush water gardens and flowering trees form the backdrop for serene areas where guests can reflect on their lives and return home with a new perspective. Each of the 17 suites is decorated to reflect a Hindu god, a small spa offers aromatherapy wellness and beauty services in private treatment pavilions, while chefs aim to serve nurturing and beautifully presented meals in the restaurant, café, bar or anywhere on the grounds.

In the Area

The point is to remain on the grounds, read from the property’s extensive personal development library, and reflect. But for guests who want to include more of Bali in their itinerary, the staff can arrange activities such as cultural daytrips—Ubud is within relatively easy reach—yoga workshops, handcraft courses, temple visits, cooking classes, mountain trekking, scuba diving and white-water rafting.

Shame ! Overbooking
Reviewed 2 days ago

We booked a terrace suite. We arrived at the hotel and they gave us the room that you see on the picture... we came back to the front desk because the room is what we booked. They said they are full and that they cannot provide the room we paid for !! What a shame ! I asked to speak to the General Manager but apparently is was not possible. They proposed us 20% discount. Of course we dis not agree. They room we got was very small, not even a real room (see the bathroom on the pictures). The plugs were missing, etc.
During out whole stay, the General Manager did not bother to have a word for us or to appologize. This is amazing... i have never experienced such a bad service in my travels.

An oasis of tranquility and peace

Stayed here twice now, most recently for 2 weeks. The standard here is very high. Loved the beautiful grounds, and the staff is very polite and attentive, especially the friendly Dewi, Bobi and Odhe. Wonderful menu including dairy free, vegan and gluten free options and other healthy yummies. Also loved our room and the outdoor shower gushing from a beautiful statue.

We had the most wonderful stay here. The hotel staff are super friendly and very helpful. Our room was stunning with an outdoor shower..definitely highlight!! The pool is beautiful and you can enjoy one of their tasty smoothies or cocktails bought to you by the pool. I can’t wait to come back. Thankyou

One item only off the breakfast menu please!

We spent our last three days at Vision Villa. A relaxing and quiet place. The resort should really look into its one item policy for breakfast. We selected a breakfast inclusive package and wanted to relax after a week in independent villa in Ubud and Sannur. We usually would set out early and explore the region and have lunch late hence a good breakfast was very important for us as a family of five. Day one we were really frustrated with the one item policy to choose off the breakfast menu. The polite guest service would bring the priced menu if you need anything else. The manager was not available and did not meet with us later as we requested to give our feedback on our stay. Food is not expensive at all in Bali and we did not mind paying. We would have appreciated that this is mentioned even in the fine prints at booking time.

It would also be great if the resort could guide guests to other dine out options such as Warong Legong giving a free ride five minutes away.

The beach with volcanic black sand is not far as well and is an opportunity to understand the local rites.

Great place to stay
