Much to Admire

Very impressed with our efficient and professional welcome complete with complimentary cava.

Our room had a sea view and also over looked the pool and the camping area which is predominantly covered by trees. As others have commented it was compact with the awkward arrangement of wardrobe and all storage space within the bathroom. The in room safe(payable) was also in the bathroom. No mirror above dressing table and no extractor fan in separate toilet. Quality toiletries which were refilled as needed and much more environmentally friendly.

Pool area was quite busy but on the days we did stay poolside we always managed to get sunbeds. Sadly, some guests still saw fit to reserve beds even though the pool was hosed down every morning prior to opening. Pity the employee doesn't hose the towels down too.
We spent three days at the Seasoul area and although it was €15 each we felt it was worth it for the feeling of spaciousness and relaxation. Plus, you can officially reserve a sunbed the day before through one of the lovely staff. Only downside was the loo which although clean always smelt quite strongly and so it was a trip back to the hotel with crossed legs.

We were half board and were very impressed with the quality and variety of food on offer. Various meats and fish were cooked to order, plenty of healthy offerings and themed evenings. Breakfast also very good. To be honest, I have stayed in 5 star hotels who could learn from here. Thank you Fernando and all the restaurant team.

On the subject of staff, everyone engaged with you whether it was the maid or the M'aitre d'. Entertainment team lovely, knowing the fine line between encouraging you to join in but not pestering you.

Overall, this is a really good 4 star hotel. I usually prefer boutique style but as I was going with a friend we thought a busier hotel would suit us better. I usually dislike hotel entertainment but it was pretty good. Drink prices reasonable and the "Chill Out" bar was quite trendy.

Niki beach is nearby but there was never any real noise from there. We also tried the Radio roof top bar at the Melia Hotel which is just around the corner on the right. Great views but very expensive drinks. Ibiza town easily reached by cheap, local bus and the old town is really worth exploring.

Santa Eulalia has lots of restaurant and bar choices plus a pleasant marina, 45 minutes walk or take the bus or taxi.

Cheapest way to get to hotel is on the L24 bus from the airport. A whole €4 .We did this both ways and it saved us a lot of money. We just got a taxi from the bus stop to the door

To sum up, not a lot that they can do about the room layout I suppose but please stop charging for the room safe. It actually protects not just the guest but also the hotel's reputation and really irks people. Otherwise, there is a lot to like!

My wife and I returned back to this amazing hotel, were the staff are fantastic couldn’t do enough for you, amazing food clean bedrooms special thanks to Regla(you’re a big Star)also jeroni the manager and the reception team (Rafa)we are going back for our sixth visit in October you must try this hotel for a relaxing holiday because i know you’ll return like we do.Big thanks to the restaurant and bar staff not forgetting the crazy chef ????????

Another honest review

Arriving at the hotel reception we waited for 45 minutes to be checked in there were 5 other guests before us who had obviously been waiting too, the other party’s had all been given a glass of complementary sparkling wine but they didn’t bother offering myself and my wife any not even when they refilled their glasses.
We then finally got to our room a disabled room with two single beds and not the Starprestige room double bed that i’d paid a extra 500 quid for when I’d booked the holiday, I returned to the reception and explained to the girl that I wanted the room I’d requested when I booked, she said there wasn’t anything she could do until the following morning after speaking to the manager unless we paid an additional 20 euro’s extra a night for the only other room they had available at that time, we did get moved to another room the following day it was clean and modern but small not what I imagined it be, apart from the desk that is pushed into a small space also with two bedside tables there was absolutely no room to put anything down unless you count the bathroom sink which is not were you want to charge your iPad.
What comes with Starprestige, well to be honest not a lot, you get a room on the 5th floor which is just like any other room on all floors but the words stand out when you step off the lift making it sound like an exclusive club it’s a joke! ya may as well stick a Caviar label on a tin of salmon they were checking in other guests that had paid Starprestige on the lower floors so it’s not limited. What you do get is access to the rooftop area which is nice with lovely views and a small cooling pool along with a small area to help yourself to a selection of drinks, also there should be plenty of sun beds for all Starprestige guests but thats not how it is because all the other guests can come and help themselves via the fire escape to the drinks and sandwich’s so by late morning the beds had been taken, the drink selection is the same all over the hotel but the standard pool area ( Not Starprestige ) where you can get Cocktails, snacks, cakes etc.. and even waitress service but not in Starprestige where you think it would be. One day the guests sat and watched as a non hotel resident come up the fire escape and help himself to the facilities then after 30 minutes left.
In the dining room there is two areas prestige and Standard again apart from been pushed into a small area and the words above there’s absolutely no difference, we were often sat around with plates waiting to be moved. The food is the same everyday its very repetitive, one of the biggest complaints from guests is that the food is cold so its obvious that its been sat around which is a well known fact for becoming a breeding ground for germs, The drinks are all the same no difference no special wines etc.. just wait to be offered a drink if not you get up and get your own from the wine on tap area. You can eat in the Soul beach restaurant for one evening if you book, we booked then cancelled after reading the menu which consists of
Bread with Arbeguine olives
Main Courses
Octopus fry over smoked tomato and parmesan biscuit
candied pork cheek in garnacha wine sauce
Traditional Ibiza cheese and peppermint cake with fig ice cream
We were told you only get one glass of wine and one glass of water anything else you have to pay for, If you want a meal at the Soul bar restaurant to pay for the food is a totally different menu, it doesn’t even show the menu we were offered.
Last Day of check out
One of the benefits of Starprestige is it’s suppose to come with late room check out but this is subject to availability, what this means is you should be out of your room by 12pm but because your starprestige your able to keep your room until 2pm (hardly worth 500 quid) or you can pay 45 Euro’s to keep it until 6pm then after breakfast your wristband is cut off and and replaced with another dark blue band which only gives you the use of the pool and drinks (but only if your Starprestige) but no food your not allowed to enter the restaurant even if you paid the 45 Euro to keep your room on which is another joke, its an additional charge of 25 Euro’s each but that doesn’t include drinks you have to buy those.
Our holiday was not a total disappointment due to the fact we met many lovely people/couples who all shared the same feeling, we made each other laugh
The staff were friendly and I couldn’t fault how pleasant waitress’s, bar staff and the maids were to us i think this is totally down to the management
Would I go back? No! and I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends
