How to Get There
The property was beautiful, wonderful location, staff were great, but I felt I was mis sold information upon booking.
When I booked I checked what activities were available, my mum is disabled, so getting off the resort can become tricky hence why this is important to us, I was told of various activities including water aerobics which is great for my mum as an MS sufferer, I was told about the evening entertainment including a white party/ flower party and 2 fantastic bars, so I booked it.
Sadly, when we arrived, we were advised that the programme had changed due to it being the end of the holiday season (beg oct) we were also told the top bar was closed throughout our stay, and the beach club was an extra charge. Very disappointing when you pay a lot of money to go all-inclusive and are not informed that half the facilities, you're expecting are not actually available. I had also requested a twin room, we ended up getting a double, which they couldn’t amend as they had no twin rooms on the terrace level (?)- this wasn't a huge problem for us and we were ok to share, but just be mindful if you're wanting 2 separate beds and a terrace/jacuzzi access.
We decided to venture out to find some entertainment, but the bus stop is a very long walk, if I’d have known this was the case combined with limited activities, I could have brought a wheelchair for my mum.
The hotel was super quiet, so we asked if we could use the roof pool and bar (we were all inclusive), but was told if we wanted to use this area we'd have to pay an extra £100 per night- you'd think they'd allow us to use it considering the other facilities/bars were closed off, and with their only being a handful of visitors.
In general, the staff were very lovely and polite, and it really is a fabulous hotel, with great food. Just be aware if you use their call center to book, it appears they say anything to get a sale! I'm sure if we'd have gone in peak season there would have been no issues, but you expect to at least be told the correct information at the time of booking. Especially after highlighting the importance of such things- perhaps I’d have booked a week earlier
Located in a suburban tranquil setting, approximately 15 minutes walk by road to the town of Santa Eulalia. We were greeted warmly and checked in efficiently by friendly professional staff. Our room on the 4th floor had a beautiful sea view, with a woodland area to the left. Our room was on the compact side, however, there was a nice size bathroom with separate WC and lots of storage. The decor throughout is minimalist and modern . Rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean. The pool area was very smart and as we were there at the end of September there was no difficulty securing a space. Food was plentiful and to a high standard. We hired bikes locally and because the hotel had provided a place for us to store them there was no need to return to cycle shop on daily basis. It's possible to get bus from airport to the hotel. They depart on the hour and the journey takes approx. 40 mins. I would have to say Ibiza was a real surprise. The scenery to the north and east of the island is really beautiful and un-spoilt, and the roads and conditions are perfect for cycling (quite hilly to the north so a good level of fitness would be essential). Would highly recommend taking a boat from Eulalia to Ibiza town, and if time permits on the way hop off at some of the stops along the way.
Good hotel for an easy, relaxing holiday. It is slightly off the beaten track hence not best located for visits to St Eulalia centre - you will need a cab as it is too far to walk. However, this means it is very quiet and peaceful.
Staff were brilliant: all the housekeepers, waiters, chefs, bar staff etc seemed genuinely nice and helpful.
Our room and all the communal areas seemed spotless. Superior Double is definitely worth the extra money for private terrace and a whirlpool bath.
Breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice including all the savoury and sweet options one can imagine. Evening meals were OK, but nothing special. Again, plenty choice with great salad counter and a number of sweet options. In hindsight, it would have been better to book bed & breakfast rather than half board but we never left hungry.
I can also highly recommend the hotel SPA: full body massage and chocolate wrap were brilliant.
Overall, it's a good hotel for a lazy holiday.
Stunning hotel in an excellent location with beautiful views, I picked the hotel based on its location and was not disappointed!
Star Prestige rooms highly recommended great rooftop pool and view, in addition to bar/snacks during the day which was excellent and worth the upgrade if you plan to spend your days relaxing by the pool!
Our room itself was a reasonable size and spotlessly clean, the bathroom/shower were excellent my only disappointment was that the beds were two single beds together rather than one large/double bed which meant they would come apart from each other, not ideal for couples!
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were excellent the staff in the restaurant were great and the food was delicious with a great choice of different foods. If you stay half board as we did you can swap breakfast for lunch for small charge which covers your drinks. also choose one evening to dine in the beach club restaurant (a la carte) free of charge, speak to reception and well worth doing stunning sunset views!
We did not hire a car, taxi from airport to hotel approx €35, you can walk from hotel to Santa Eulalia harbour (approx 4-5km) for nearby bars/restaurants etc or approx €8 in a taxi.
Highly recommended, a peaceful paradise in Ibiza!
The star prestige area is well worth the extra money just for the views on the roof top pool. The mini bar to help yourselves to drinks and snacks in the pool area is a great idea. The staff go above and beyond to make this a holiday to remember. The entertainment at night was brilliant and to see all the staff enjoying a dance whilst still doing there job was brilliant. The only reason i have not given it a rating of 5 is because the breakfast let this hotel down. The orange juice was not even drinkable, the hot food i,e scrambled eggs was stone cold, this was a shame really because we stopped alinclusive and dinner and evening meal was amazing but the worst breakfast by far i have ever experienced in all the hotels i have stopped in.We would defiantly re visit this hotel in the future, for longer next time.
